Query: Player Value of Posters

Sorry if this has been done before, but how does the "Player Value" increase? I've seen people on here who I have no idea who they are, and they are in the millions. I've been on here for years (lurking mostly) but certainly have had my periods of high activity, and I seem to have been stuck on £250k-£750k for years

Just wondered, out of interest more than anything, what contributes to the values?

Can we get a thread recapping banned posters, etc? Maybe it's none of our business, but some people can't keep up with all the action. Maybe we can have one regular joe compile a list like the loan report or Eggs' daily transfer rumors report.
