As you say - It will be back in some form - this was the 3rd or 4th version. We really need it to be default software. The add ons are too temperamental/risky. Apparently they're going to make it so the reactions (like/middlefinger etc) and be used+comment which could be alright.
Is it definitely going? Last I read @GrandOldTeam couldn’t get rid without potentially bringing the whole site down and he was getting @roydo in to sort it out.
The developer updated it yesterday so we could disable it;
It's an indication of the issue with third party stuff.
If the bloke who made it bailed, we'd have been stuck there. We wouldnt have been able to upgrade the forum with compliance updates etc.
I am under no illusion about cry-arses.
