To be fair the plug was genuine, teasing Chris is just a bonus.

It will be an excellent series though, and as a former science educator I'm sure Chris will enjoy it

I don't know much about it except from what I've read here on GOT. It's about women complaining about their breast cancer and also feeling entitled. This apparently is the content that runs 24/7.

Also, I've coached girls sports for 15 years so there's that too.

I think you have swallowed the agenda of a couple of people on this forum who like to slur others for a bit of fun ... either that or they genuinely are so thick the don't understand my words or don't understand humour or irony.

I have proudly sparked the career of many female scientists. If you ever have a blood test for prostate cancer, chances are you have a test developed by one of them and her and her team. Another has played a part in developing a hand held DNA analysis tool that will have enormous application in the field. I could go on. The fact that these girls/women see fit to want keep me informed of their progress many years later would suggest I do not have the prejudices of which I am accused.

I'll mention again - to put this to rest - that I pioneered girls football in the schools of this town, in the early 90s, long, long before it was fashionable and when there was considerable resistance by male and especially female pe staff. I coached girls (and boys) after school and at weekends and ran tournaments to encourage other schools to join in. (We absolutely blatted them!) One of them went on to be semi-pro at Bristol.

But if you believe the slurs from the confoundedly ignorant- I hate women apparently - because I dislike a few presenters on radio 4 who are constantly spewing forth misandry. Go figure.
