The announcement seems a bit off. No word from Brands, and a lot more low key than when Ancelotti signed.

It’s almost as if the club is embarrassed. Not a good start. Back your man.

Its possible they know themselves this is another allerdyce type appointment, just filling a void until a better candidate becomes available next summer.. ..thats certainly how I'm trying to get through this

My sentiments too. Another short-term appointment whether that's likely to happen or not, is bad news for us however you look at it.

There is no honeymoon period but if he can survive the first few months it might at least allow things to settle down just a little.
