Mate, Crimson has nothing to do with the RS. It's from my own life unrelated to Everton.

Thanks though for illustrating my point about the real reason for this argument. And for the random, unwarranted hostility.

The criteria has shifted as we go from living with rivals in everyday life, etc. etc. to specifically being in particular pubs on particular days, so I guess AmericasToffee is right that there really is no point going further here.

Man, these sorts of interactions really make this forum pleasurable to be a part of and to support financially, I tell you.
I know its probably personal, but, Crimson is red.

Anyway, didnt wish to pile on anymore than others, forgive me.

Nonsense.
You absolutely hate the RS and everything to do with them. I don't think I've ever seen you say a half decent word about them or any of their players or managers. In fact every comment I recall seeing you make has been tinged with hate and spite.

No way would you accept this managerial appointment normally. In fact all you have to do is search your posts prior to June 1st 2021 that contain the word Benitez to understand what you really feel about the man. There are pages and pages of them and not a single one of them complimentary lol

He'll fight for us. He wants to bring new faces in. That's what I want to hear.

Words are cheap, but that's a good start today.

It's obvious though that his relationship with the fraud DoF is non-existent. That needs sorting out ASAP, preferably with Brands out of the club.
Bend the knee to the fat RS Dave

there’s a good boy

I've spent too much time on message boards. It's taught me that sometimes it's better to not spend another second pursuing an argument. Just a waste of time.

Thatls the first time I'v seen that again since it happened.

I'm not sure it's as damning as I thought it was.

He was talking specifically about Everton playing narrow and deep and setting up for a draw; then the interviewer introduced the issue of other teams coming to Anfield and manking it difficult for Liverpool to break down. He called those others 'the small clubs', and then said that 'they' [meaning Everton] tried to do the same in that derby.

That's a distinction made between us and the small clubs, not lumping us in with them, just saying we acted like a small club in that derby.

I actually think his clarification a year or so back on MNF saying that was acurate and truthful.

And I for one respect him for that!

The owners don't care how the fans feel. 'The peoples club.' Is it?

Every single bad performance and loss is going to be amplified by this person being here. It's not going to work.
The owners have poored hundreds of millions in to the club, fans sentiment doesn't come in to it when your running a business.

They have made the decision that they think is in the long term interest of the club. Gate receipts sadly don't go far in comparison to success something we have been devoid of for far to long.

Ye, it's personal for us but it's business for them.
