we get it. Some Everton fans deserve to be fans more so than others. Maybe some of us can take notes from you about being more switched on as fans.

Can I apologise if that’s how you read it mate that wasn’t my intention . Anyone who supports this club from anywhere in the world is a blue . To me overseas fans or those that randomly support the club are unreal because , well why ? I had no choice !! I’ve had some incredible interactions with blues all around the world sometimes on holiday and sometimes travelling away to the match , which to be clear I don’t really do much myself anymore.

I worded my point badly , so again I apologise , what I mean is it’s easy not to understand how nasty the derby is now . Blues have been hospitalised, arrested and suffered life changing injuries after or before derbies the friendly derby stuff is a media myth and sometimes if you aren’t in it you might not get it . They loved him because he did decent and fought with Ashley who they hate. Don't see that playbook working here.

There are huge similarities to his time at Stamford Bridge with a large section, possibly a big majority of their fanbase, hating every almost every minute of his time there, chanting the name of Mourinho at him.

There is one thing that can be guaranteed mate, no one will be singing "Carlo magnifico" at Benitez.
