Until Potter gets Brighton into Europe im dubious of the hype tbh.

Finished 16th last season and has won 1 in his last 6 currently yet is raved about because they play good football which is more down to their players actually being able to play football.

Could he do the same with Tom Davies?

Are the majority of them the same players that chris hughton had? When they hardly strung a pass together or crossed the halfway line? Or is it his coaching style?
Would he get the same from tom davies? No, because i doubt he would even select him.

Thats just nonsense. He's only managed 2 clubs in the past 3 years in england after his stint in sweden. Hughton was a negative park the bus manager. You couldnt get a more different style than potters. The contrast of brighton under hughton and potter is is worlds apart. Dont see many claiming potter is "the next great thing"
It is possible to just take notice of what he's doing and admire it. Did you see brighton at anfield last week? Went there and didnt give a fck it was liverpool. Matched them and took it to them. How many Everton managers down the years have gone there or grounds like that and bottled it before the kick off.
He's a good coach. I think a big club will have a punt on him soon.
Wont be Everton. We havent got the bollocks to go there. Plus the fanbase of this club would hound him out.

I don't think any big club is taking a punt on him. The only realistic option would be Leicester if Rodgers goes on to bigger pastures.

Brighton are 2 points better off than us, Potter is being heralded as the next great thing, Rafael is being talked about like a piece of rubbish. I guarantee by the end of the season, we will be around where we are in the table and Brighton will be around 16th yet again.

I want to know where you all think the next win is coming from in that run. I can't see us taking one of those matches with the way Benitez has us playing right now. If anyone thinks otherwise I would like to hear why.
haha, you're trying to say that another manager would have us looking forward confidently to the next few games. who, Eddie Howe? It's all nonsense. We are in for a pretty tricky period, a couple of hidings even, til we get our players back. But after the next 4-5 weeks we'll get them back, put a run together and be comfortably off come the new year.

Yeah, believe it or not I don't think Benitez is the be-all and end-all.

I don't know why some Evertonians have convinced themselves that he is the only man capable of doing the job. It's absolutely bewildering.

It's not like we've even been good.

You're talking about brighton and Everton here. The size of the clubs isnt even a comparison. It shouldnt even be a comparison.
Lets see when we play liverpool next month if we sh!t ourselves before a balls even kicked. If our manager doesnt pray for a point. And set up for a plucky point.
Unlike potter who didnt give a fck they were playing them on their own ground last week.
Thats not a 1 off with him either.
Good coach. It just kills some to admit it. Fck knows why.

Who cares about style of play. Hughton finished in a similar position to Potter when he was there.

Brighton also spend on average 60 mil per season.

it's not that they've convinced themselves he's the only man for the job, just that theyd rather not sack him after two months when we're tenth (him having been given no money to spend and put in charge of a poxy squad). The world and his wife can see we've got a really tricky few weeks coming up, and the sensible approach is instead of shouting 'sack him' is to get behind the team and give him a bit of backing.
