yes, he's the latest in along line. it was Bielsa last year, Wilder the year before. I'm perplexed that you complain about us jumping from manager to manager, and your solution is to jump to the latest on the hit parade. We tried the 'fresh ideas' with Silva. Had to be bailed out, didnt end well. You need an experienced hand to take over this shtshow. Potter was saying only a couple of months ago how hurtful the negative comments from the brighton fans was, Imagine him coping with the levels here.

Never ever once called for bielsa. His track record is always burns bright and them goes out like a light.
Silva? Really. Again do you post this sh!t in all seriouness? He showd fck all and i mean fck all to be even connected to this job. Who are you speaking for when you mention marco silva?

He's the only manager in history to lose a game after the final whistle had blown.

He finished 16th last season and he's currently only won 1 in his last 6 despite Brighton having the 9th biggest net spend in recent years in the league.

Again im not saying he's a bad manager im saying he's over rated.

I asked you a direct question about the players under hughton and potter.
And you come back with that sh!t.
Dire. Even for you

I dont care about Hughton mate thats irrelevant. Potter is doing a decent job for a small club - if he gets them into Europe or at least 8th which is where managers like Alladyce and Silva have taken a dysfunctional Everton to in the table then we can start raving about the bloke.

Until then he's another prospect manager who gets plaudits over style of play rather than points on the board/trophies.

BENITEZ! Says it right at the top.
Stop sniping at each other and discuss the current manager

And @Gilbert.. stop trying to avoid the swear filter or I'm tagging Andy in

Depends on points, can see him gone before derby if results and form are negative. Be dangerous to have him at Goodison at that match in that scenario.
Dangerous? As in a possible fan protest?

I dont see that happening. And if it did it'd be outrageous given the circumstances Benitez has been forced to manager in.

You brought up about the players at potters disposal. The bulk that hughton had.
One got them playing. The other didnt.
So it can be about coaching and the approach.

ok, I thought it was obvious but I'll go again. you said we need to go for a young coach with fresh ideas. I'm making the point that that was the thought process that had us appointing Silva, and it's a load of cobblers. Young old, it all depends on how good a manager they are.

That doesnt make sense. Just because silva was young doesnt mean he was the right fit. I cant recall any Everton fans even wanting him.
You just called it with the last line. It depends how good they are. And silva wasnt.

This is what I mean - absolutely no self awareness in whats been posted.

A Champions League winning manager who has us sat 10th in the table (where we finished last season under another Champions League winning manager).

If people cut out the hatred and blinkered nonsense we could discuss things sensibly but it's obvious at this point that you guys are unable to do so because you're inherently biased against the guy so any poor form or loss and its none stop hysteria.

How would you feel if we had brought in Alex Ferguson, Marcelo Lippi, Fabio Capello, Giovannia Trappatoni or Arrigo Sacchi?

All world class managers in their time.

"Yeah but forget the defensive shambles, forget the appalling football on show, forget the abject drop off in performances of the players, forget the dire substitutions...

....they were world class a million and two years ago"

Would that be your view, in line with the Benitez praise for showing the above total ineptitude since hes been appointed.

Theres two positives, signing Gray and tweaking Doucoure.

Theres at least 10 negatives, some of which have been critical errors
