This was after the kopites beat United 5-0

Since then nuno and farke have been sacked.

Wonder if we will act if we lose the next couple.

Which shows how insecure we are as a fanbase when it comes to them tbh.

Could you imagine how much they would have loved rubbing it in having Kendall or any EFC legend cross the divide over to Anfield.

Even if they aint arsed as they have Klopp it at least sours his legacy with them somewhat if he makes a decent go of it here if given time and money.
Great post.

I’m not expecting anything from this Spurs match.

Tottenham will likely be in a buoyant mood, having just appointed arguably the best manager in world football. They also have much better players, to be frank. And we’re still missing our best centre-back (Yerry Mina), our best midfielder (Abdoulaye Doucoure) and our only centre-forward (DCL).

As Howard Kendall once said: anything is possible at Goodison when the crowd is right behind the team because they’re like a 12th man. So who knows? But I’m not optimistic.

It's Sir Howard Kendall...

Serious query. In every profession I can think of the longer you do it the better you get....Obvious really. Seems that doesn’t apply to football managers?
No, not obvious.

You have worked for the same company for 10 years and have all that experience.

If you don't adapt to working from home during the CV pandemic in 2020 (ensuring that your laptop is remote work-ready, utilising Microsoft Teams for your meetings and presentations, adapting your work week to ensure that you meet all your deadlines), then you are not adding value to your company despite your 10 years of experience.

Going to be a laugh when Rafael has gone and we bring in a manager the majority will be ok with, you can guarantee @ForeverBlue92 will go against that manager
Anything that looks positive for Everton, not just a new manager. For some reason it always wants the worst possible outcome for Everton and delights in goading good blues. This Benitez debacle is just the latest of its offerings.

Why would he be shorter odds? We're 11th,could even be 5th after our game today.

…we’ve lost our last 3 league games, two of those at home & we’re 6 points off the relegation zone. We were knocked out of the League Cup by lower league opposition and a few managers ahead of him in the betting have recently been sacked. 4 consecutive league defeats and the alarm bells truly start ringing.

Thats why he should be shorter odds.

The thing is for those wanting Benitez to go, who do we bring in that is better?

We are no longer in a position to pick top managers as we are a mid table club with no money to spend in the near to mid future.

Newcastle who are now the richest club in the world have just appointed Eddie Howe
We have no money to sack him.

It's amazing that in every other thread, most are rational and can see that recruitment, DoF, players, backroom, medical staff, academy, Kenwright are all bigger problems than the manager yet in here, it's constant sack sack sack. No matter who you bring in as manager, as long as the other problems are not sorted, nothing much will change.

All that sacking him will accomplish is another name to abuse because everything else remains the same. Almost a new mamager a year and even Ancelotti who most got behind couldn't do anything except play some of the worst football since Allardyce. Sack him now, appoint another manager who probably is gonna be worse and then sack the new manager again in the summer?
