It's pointless wanting to get beat by Spurs as all that will achieve is another defeat with Benitez going nowhere.I dont but those who wanted him sacked do want Spurs to win, of course.they do.
You can think he is the wrong choice for manager, you can think we can do better, you can also think he is making big mistakes, but you can not want him sacked and want Everton to win.
Dean Smith potted by Villa now. Farke
yesterday.
Culling season well and truly underway.
Come on Mosh - you’ve not held back before.
Smith gone now
Only 4 points worse off than us and have had a harder run of games
Battering today surely sees him close to the bullet
Benitez didn’t spend millions on Bailey Buendia Ings in the summer. Smith also isn’t dealing with an injury crisis. Completely different scenarios. I think they should have kept Smith but perhaps he’d run his course given how long he’d been there
Not sure you’re correct. Threatened with relegation he pulls the trigger - has done with everyone. We hit the bottom 6 following a battering by the RS - possible perhaps even probable - and the dynamic changes entirely. From who? The fans, certainly yes but I think Moshiri stopped listening to them a long time ago. The fact he appointed Benitez shows he stopped caring what the fans think. By now everyone at the club should be aware of the problems and I doubt the manager is one of the main ones given all the managers who have failed before Benitez.
"Danny Ings, Douglas Luiz, Ezri Konsa, and Bertrand Traore are all unavailable for Aston Villa’s crucial Premier League fixture at Southampton this Friday."Benitez didn’t spend millions on Bailey Buendia Ings in the summer. Smith also isn’t dealing with an injury crisis. Completely different scenarios. I think they should have kept Smith but perhaps he’d run his course given how long he’d been there
The fact that owners are getting trigger fingers is nothing new at this stage of the season. No one wants a relegation battle. And replace him with who?
Some bloke you'll be crying to get sacked in 12 months when Brands is still signing tosh and Michael Keane, Tom Davies, Alex Iwobi & Mason Holgate are still getting games? lol
There are 4 World Class managers at present - Guardiola, Klopp, Simeone & Conte
Below that your Tuchel's, Ancelotti's, Ten Hags etc
Then your Benitez's, Kovac, Biesla's etc - this is the list we are shopping in when we have funds - when we dont its below that.
Clubs like us, Villa etc wont be hiring anyone world class get it out your head man and with our FFP Problems we'll be lucky to do better than a Lampard out of work type.
It may be the only answer available.Injuries have decimated our season so far. The easy way is play the blame game, but sacking Benitez isn't the answer like the Farker and Dean Smith.

That not enough? Spine of the team right there.Injury crisis?
