I wont thou, since when have we pinned everything on the derby, a fixture we very rarly win, Brentford is a big game, its the biggest we have coming up, but if we lose that then very serious questions have to be asked about Brands

I think some of the issue is, you claim all this (and use the word 'we' so are speaking on behalf of the benitez brigade), but have you all been like this for every manager? And allowed the same excuses etc for other managers? Or are you all just now blindly backing benitez?

To be honest yes every manager, its far to early for an Evertonian to make a judgment on Rafael for footbal reasons, even at the end of last season i didnt openly want Carlo sacked even if he was a terrible failure. There is a bigger issue to look at, we cant keep sacking managers as this is one of the reasons the squad is so damaged, we have to have three years of managerial stability.

He isn't really though. Whilst in name he might be DOF he certainly has never been allowed to operate in the role as you would expect, if he had I very much doubt either the current or previous manager would have been chosen for their roles. I also think there are numerous signings we have made that if Brands had 100% control I just don't see us making them. The role is a redundant role at EFC as there seems to be too many people involved in the decision making process. Brands for me is little more than a contract negotiator.

Similarly if we lose it will be carnage in here. It’s why the Brentford game is massive. 99% sure we get tonked at the weekend so imagine drawing or losing against a championship standard team going into the derby. Then getting slapped about by them and the indignity of all the added shame that this time will be attached to the defeat.

Its carange on here after everygame, this will be no different, in fact people were moaning after we beat Burnley because we had a poor period during the game, mad as a bucket of frogs this place haha

If we don’t pick up a few results over Christmas then potentially the resolve of the board will be really tested.

If benitez has us on 15 points after 14 games. The point at which allardyce was hired and you believed saved us from relegation. Would you believe we need saving from relegation now and that benitez has us in a relegation scrap?

Yes, a bit hypothetical and I know it doesn't take into account injuries etc, and hopefully he gets some more points so isnt in that position but just interested.

The fan base isn't devided, they just want to devide it, we support the club, we back the manger, we support the players, we want Everton to win games.

Do you always want everton to win every game? You've never wanted us to lose of it would mean a manager getting sacked?
