Doing well so far but Leeds has been the only decent team we've played, real test is seeing how we perform against City, Chelsea, Utd & the RS

I agree with you on that but at the same time I feel like the past few seasons we would have either lost to one of the 3 teams we have played so far. As long as we are competitive and can steal some points from the top of the table I reckon we will have a good season. Still early, but i have a shimmer of hope.

Get a grip mate.
If he finishes top 8 with no money to spend he will have done well.
Extreme bias tends to discredit your opinion in my view.

I have no reason to excuse being biased against a kopite - no everton fan does.

An average performance, which in my view 8th is, wont be enough to justify the hire.

Sorted out issues that no Everton manager since Moyes has managed e.g you don’t win anything playing slow lazy grabs. Couldn’t believe how we were getting about Brighton but that’s what you can do when players with pace who work hard cover ground.

a great win, if we keep playing like this I see no reason why we can't push on for Europe. some of you need to calm down with the adulation but at the same time there's no reason to be overly negative, a good start to the season is always welcome and considering we've got relatively easy fixtures until the United game, there is zero reason we can't have a very successful season.

For me to take Benitez seriously Everton must win all 4 (now it's 3 left) games in the late Aug and Sep fixtures - beat f Burnely, Norwich and Villa then we will talk.
