A good start. He’s definitely getting a tune out of the players at the moment. Benetiz has certainly got them fitter than I’ve seen an Everton side for some time.
Maybe it is not fitter but they have some belief now under the new manager and can actually be bothered to make the required effort?

Alright Rafael I don't like you and you don't like me... but keep it up... hopefully Gray maintains his goal scoring. A bit of pace and an eye for goal has been missing from the midfield since pienear.

ffs don't be such a prude mate

If you don't get allegorical language I make it simple for you. All I'm saying - this is only the third f game in PL, so don't fly.

For me to take Benitez seriously Everton must win all 4 (now it's 3 left) games in the late Aug and Sep fixtures - beat f Burnely, Norwich and Villa then we will talk.
Ok but so far so good?

I’m definitely starting to believe.

My caution is more down to being let down by previous Everton managers that I got excited by than Benitez himself, though.

The ex-Kopite thing is already over for me, which frankly has been much faster to disappear from my thoughts than I’d anticipated. That’s testament to the man.
Yer same

Appeal to our matchday absenting supporters who have declared themselves lost to the club while Benitez is here:

Swallow your pride; come back into the fold, and start getting behind this manager and his team.

I was at Goodison last week cheering on MY team.

I was watching today cheering on MY team.

As I said before the season started, if he does badly and gets sacked, I win, if he does well and wins games, I win.

I simply can not lose.

Going well but that was also the case at the start of last season so im not getting too hyped yet

No one should get carried away, the top 4 are lightyears ahead now. We will be beaten, probably heavily and how we react to that will define how good a season we have.

I just like that we have a plan and as long as we don't have those meek performances where we aren't even in the races like the majority of the home games last season, then I'm happy.
