Again, let's see what backing he gets in the transfer market. This may be what pulls the carpet from under feet. I'm now expecting the next few games to go well though. Consistently beating the middle and bottom half teams is something we've needed to do more Consistently for ages and (I know one swallow does not make a summer but) Benitez might be the coach for that.
When it gets tougher in October, we'll see where we stand relative to the better teams and if Europe is achievable.
So far so good. If this carries on I might even change my avatar and get some humble pie in for my tea come the end of season.
