it's never, ever his faultI’d be more forgiving of him if he was a likeable bloke (like Roberto or Carlo), but I just find him so defensive and evasive I can’t warm to him at all.

59 points got 7/8th (and some seasons higher) in all but one of the 20 seasons prior to last season. And should have finished much higher.
59 points this season probably gets 7/8th.
We should have been on about 68 points with ease last year and it was on Ancelotti that we weren't.
He takes zero responsibility for anything that goes wrong and expects 100% of the credit for anything that goes right.
He called out Gordon publicly after we got thumped by Watford and I will not forget that.
He called out Davies too and then subsequently hung out Gbamin to dry in the next game.
He's a bad manager. He has been for a long time. Mix that with bad players and you get what you get now.
He shouldn't be here, he needs binning off sharpish, because he is not the manager to take us forward.
Like Spurs with Nuno - it just was never, ever, the right appointment.
Brands should either get the run over the next manager or he should be gone too, and we should go and get Rangnick in and actually start over properly with a bloke who knows how to set up a system and is also a good coach.
The biggest error today - and he made a lot - was the Iwobi sub.
Gray injury is a big blow. But why oh why does he then bring Iwobi on?
It's not, in any way 'like for like', so it completely changes the system yet he keeps the formation and shape. Totally different type of player in there, yet the same shape. Utter madness.
He called out the youngest player in the team, the only player who had performed.Hold on.
So we've been waiting for a manager to call out this squad of shirkers for years.
We finally get a manager that does that...... and its feel sorry for the players time?!!!
Unbelievable lol
They don't need a plan b. We're right on track with plan A ("try not to get relegated until the stadium is built").Sense that we will just limp on. This inept board of ours won’t have a plan b.
Iwobi was the only other "wide" player on the bench mate.
Absolutely baffling to slate him for that when we have literally no other options.
Bringing on Iwobi is absolutely not the right callIwobi was the only other "wide" player on the bench mate.

He had a wide player on the pitch - our best one at that - playing as a stupid second striker/no.10 (and the latter is probably the only position Iwobi should play in).
Either change shape to an actual 4-3-3 (bring on an actual midfielder) to push Townsend wide right and Gordon wide left, or put Iwobi central and Townsend wide.
Or, since all we did was lump useless long balls up, put Rondon on to do F all and have Richarlison wide left.
Loads of options, he picked the worst one, even if it's the poorest of a bad bunch.
Managers should be flexible. He isn't.
I despise iwobi but what was the other choice - rondon and going two up top? - could have ended up 6/7 playing 4-4-2 against cityBringing on Iwobi is absolutely not the right call
