So you would be happy being 17th in 3 games time?

As you've said, we could possibly scrape a point vs brentford, so you think it's unlikely.

Do you think we take 3 points from Liverpool or arsenal? (Arsenal who until this weekend were the form team in the league)

What would changing the manager do? Who could do better?

I hate this argument usually when it's applied to a manager who's been here 2-3 years, but he's been here 12 league games, and we've just come off the back of a season with one of the game's greatest managers only managing one point more in the same time frame.

So as you didn't answer my question, I'm guessing you expect 0 points? Maybe 1 from brentford? And that's acceptable after having not won a game since September?

Maybe a new manager would instill some passion or drive into the players (I was told benitez is good at that, not seeing it so far). I was told yesterday that because our players are hopeless, benitez doesn't even have to try to do that. He can just sit at the side and let them do whatever they want. How is that acceptable?

The board are a joke, brands is a joke, and benitez is taking us for a ride. He doesn't care about us.he is here for the 7m a year he is getting.

No I didn't. I said 15 games. Made an educated estimation based on our form and the next 3 games.

If you did that last season you'd have sacked Ancelotti before we beat Leicester, Arsenal and Chelsea. We'd just come off the back of defeats to Leeds, Southampton and Newcastle.

You can't estimate with these cowards. They can throw in a performance when nothing is expected of them and fold in a light breeze the moment they have a home game against a League Two side. We have a terrible squad, one of the worst in the league, on merit they should go down comfortably - all that keeps us up is moments of individual quality from a handful of players.

I expected us to try to get across the 40 point mark this season and survive. Because we spent nothing in the summer and have one of the worst squads in the league, and undoubtedly the worst squad in terms of attitude and professionalism.

I'm not interested in the next three games in isolation. I simply acknowledged the obvious before a ball was kicked - that Benitez can only polish a turd so much; it remains a turd.

If we aren't prepared to give a manager even half a season with no money and a squad of proven losers, we deserve everything we get.

But we hadn't gone 2 months without a win, or had only 1 win in 9 games.

Again, we were told that our back up players are mid table standard by a fierce benitez supporter during the last week. Now they are relegation standard.

What has made us 20 points worse than last season?

No but its not the managers fault which is the default setting.

If Kane, Son, Moura, Hojberg, Lloris & Regulion all got injured tomorrow for 5-6+ weeks and Spurs lost their next 4 in 5 - does Conte deserve the sack? is he a bad manager? or is it just simply he or anyone else can not do much with those players missing with what Spurs have to replace them with?

There is no logic to your argument. If we had a fully fit squad minus 1-2 players like Coleman or Allan or Godfrey I completely agree the manager is failing with what he has - but he's simply lost our best and most irreplaceable players.

You cant replace DCL - he's had him out for over 8+ weeks

You cant replace Doucoure - he's had him out for over 5 weeks

You cant replace Richarlison/Mina/Pickford - they've been out for anywhere from 3-6 weeks individually.

You can't even replace Gray with Richy having to play up top in DCL's absence and he'll be out for 3-4 or so weeks now.

Thats not on Benitez its on our medical department and the shambolic recruitment over the last 4-5 years.

The same squad that got 10th last season that is arguably stronger as townsend and Gray are here, a back up striker who the manager loves and the supposedly crap James is gone. The squad that got 59 points which in all.but 1 of the previous 20 seasons would have got Europe. OK.

No, if it was 4 or 5 games then clearly Conte would not deserve the sack.

We are currently 1 win in 9, not 1 in 4. If we go another few games then it becomes untenable. There is a big difference between 1 win in 12 or 13 or 1 win in 5 or 6.

They should all be back before the halfway point of the season. And Carlo had injuries too.

Nowhere near to this degree. It's pretty much unprecedented.

No manager would get a tune out of this squad, especially when you take out the best defender, midfielder AND striker from it.

Which brings me back to the point - what on earth would sacking Benitez do, when no other manager would do anything else?

People need to take off the blinkered rage at Benitez and acknowledge the reality of the situation here. He's proven he can get results when he has a semblance of a first team squad to choose from, and he's proven the squad is paper thin and you can't get a result when he doesn't. There's no surprise here.

We have 1 defensive injury. There is no excuse for the number of goals we are conceding. Next week we need to keep a clean sheet - there is no excuse no to be compact at least.
