He also knew he didn’t want James and got rid before he entered the place.

Don’t worry mate, everything is going to be fine when Mina, Doucoure and DCL return from injury but by then about another 3 or 4 will be out injured. Can’t keep blaming injuries on players being so poor on the pitch.

Thats our entire spine though

Take Salah, Fabinho & Van Dijk out of Liverpool and they wont be as good even with their good enough replacements of Jota, Henderson & Matip.

Our replacements are Rondon, Davies & Godfrey.

I look at West Ham and I bet they would be nowhere near top 4 if they had Antonio, Rice & Ogbonna out their side for most of the season gone so far.

We have 5 players in the squad who are irreplaceable:

DCL
Doucoure
Mina
Richarlison
Pickford

All 5 have been injured 11 games in, DCL has missed 8 weeks, Richarlison 6 weeks and Doucoure 4-5 weeks.

Sad to see this civil war in the fanbase, but so predictable that this would happen once we took Benitez on, and that's all on Moshiri - the manager search was pathetic and sums up the club's hierarchy.

I never wanted him, as didnt many other blues and also no other premier League club for the last few years, because he is yesterday's man with yesterday's ideas - a footballing dinosaur.

The zonal marking is pathetic - it will only work with switched on brave centre backs taking responsibility, which is exactly what we don't have.

His negative, safety first tactics depress me but he has always been that way, I knew what we were going to get and I suppose he is trying to work with the squad he has been left with.

The injuries are crippling but he shouldn't be excused from all blame, that said I really don't see the point in sacking him, as we don't have a plan in place - the cycle of shoite will just start again with some other crap manager.

We need to plan-do-check-act instead of just act-act-act-act constantly expecting different results.

If Benitez has got any football nous he should lash most of the usual suspects in the bin and play the kids - we can't do any worse with branthwaite, Simms, Dobbin etc having a go instead.

He should cancel the loans of nkounkou and Kean as well if he can, though Brands has prob buggered those deals up so we can't hasn't he!

Come on carlin. Tell us all right now that Benitez is going to do better.
I dont think he is but under these circumstances i dont hink anyone can
Oh was there another manager in charge this season who lost us all those games? Oh no? It was Benitez the whole time wasn't it.

What????
His treatment of King was a disgrace, 11 times he came on for us and 7 of those was less then 10 minutes, it was disgusting, i dont think he even started him once, he should be our player right now, not Rondon

I'd happily watch ugly football if it meant us actually competing in games and showing some balls while scraping a 1-0 win.
We're going backwards with Pigman at the helm

But you’ll only scrape so many 1-0 wins while playing crap. I just want us to show progress as a football team, that’s the only way we’ll see any form of long term success. We’ve done nothing but get worse for the past 4 years.

I’ve not seen a single coherent plan for a way forward if we fired Benitez. No name for who they want in, no ideas for which players/formations they should play instead, no plans for how we solve the problems that are impacting on Benitez just like managers before him.

No just a load of spoilt brat partisan nonsense wanting to see another manager fired. There’s absolutely nothing of substance other than this vague dream that some unknown young manager is going to come to us and suddenly get these useless players playing like prime Barca. Unfortunately all the parallels they normally shout for like Bielsa, Frank, and Potter are doing just as bad. That’s why they’ve not got a single name.

Everyone admitted this was one of the hardest jobs in the premier league when Ancelotti left us in the lurch. Yet because Benitez once managed Liverpool (a team he clearly couldn’t care less about now by the very fact he took this job) it means they’ve given him no time whatsoever. Let him get on with the job ffs.
This lot are happy with the Galloot. That's how 'kin bankrupt they are.

That's a caricature of what's happened.

The first team squad was pathetically bare when he inherited it - not helped by you know who being suspended.
It got 59 points last year Dave.

Actually amazing how you are all working so hard to lower the expectations for him.

When have we ever gone into a season where people would be happy if we finished worse than the one before it?

Yes you’re right but we are another training session away from another injury. The coaching staff need to be doing better in trying to get the best out of the rest of the squad which at the moment isn’t happening. We can’t keep hoping these players will return and everything is going to be fine.

There is no 'civil war'. It's a the paintbrush mafia with the same old "sack fat pig Benitez" BS.

It's utterly chronic. I feel only pity for them.
