For what it's worth: every manager makes mistakes and bad signings. Even Carlo. It's always a bit like betting on a horse...

I had a look at the article which rated every signing he made at Newcastle and what struck me most of all is that cumulatively his budget for the entire time he was there was tiny.
There were successes and failures but when you are signing players at bargain basement prices it is much harder to sign quality.

I wonder how Pep, Klopp or Tuchel would do if their limit for a player was 10m ?
