That's distinctly not true. Moyes did not only get 17 from his first 19 games.

Which will likely improve with injured players back and when he has a few bob given to him to spend and rectify the situation. It doesn't matter if 20 yrs or so ago the ill informed 'fact' got posted on here so I replied to the historic question. Moyes is doing OK at the moment but you know as well as me that he will hit a patch of bad form which he has done in his entire managerial career. If you isolate the 10 games then Yes it is not great but I am just pointing out that he is not alone as an Everton manager to have had bad runs and I still believe the 17pts in the first 19 games is still a shocker despite it being about 15 years ago.Benitez will see the season out I reckon and I for one will not be looking to oust him. Change now and It won't help the Club but may appease some fans until the next manager is labelled a fraud

2. @ForeverBlue92 claiming he has never been convinced on Benitez and didn't want him here
3. @banno making up results that never happened 15 years ago to try and paint Benitez as something other than a massive failure.

He looks like a spotty player, a bit Kevin Mirallas.

Good player, capable of great moments, but a tad inconsistent. He was excellent last night. He hasn't been that impressive during this poor run we have had for 2 months.

Hes a winger thats what they do, they're inconsistent unless you can afford one of the very best, we can't. He'll have good spells he'll have bad spells. I like him personally but 40 million , never in a month of Sundays.

Still a nice bit of business though, paid 1.7 million he's contributing to the team and would probably be worth about 15-20 million if he completed the season in about the same form he's shown up to now.

We can only compare like with like:

In 2010/11 Moyes took 16 points from the opening 15 games
This season Benitez has taken 18 points from first 15 games

We finished 7th that season under Moyes and I expect us to get pretty much near that this season under Benitez.
