It's a team that at bare minimum, should be capable of finishing in the top 10.
We need a manager that can get results, and not drive out and alienate our best players. In terms of getting the most out of this average enough squad, then Benitez most certainly is the biggest problem.I know that and I am not saying it is good or that it is not a reason to be concerned.
But I do not think it is the right move to sack RB when the manager is evidently not the biggest problem.
He frozen out our only LB, he now taken off Rich and will drop him for Chelsea most likely. The Benitez appointment was the wrong one because it took the focus off the players, which maybe was the intention all along, to free up the pressure on them after two disappointing years. If any other manager had been appointed, anyone at all, the players would be getting the full force of the fan anger.
Changing the manager achieves nothing other than letting these players off the hook for another 18 months. I have no problem with him alienating our best players when they are not performing and others have already said for 12 months they want to leave. Somebody has to raise the standards for these players, let them know the easy ride is over, hopefully that is what RB is doing.
We also have only won, a grand total of one game over the last two months. We're 2 points off 10th.
We havnt won at Chelsea for over 20 years
Last 2 games at Stamford bridge is a score of 7-0 an looks more likely to be 10-0
Everton have zero chance of winning at Chelsea
If all of GoT comes together, we might be able to toss his lard body in the mersey. There’s not one single redeeming feature to him or his coaching. Time for rafasaurus to become extinct
The performance and results are a bit worrying, I must admit. On the other hand, it is a bit as expected. It takes time before the effects of changes become visible. It is not a linear process, although we like to think it is.
What is happening now is that the system is experiencing imbalance. Benitez has implemented a number of changes and requirements for players, support staff, organization, etc. It is only natural that he will experience resistance, and many are not willing to change. This happens in any culture, organization, where someone comes from the outside and threatens the identity and conditions of those who reside in this system.
So I think there will be far more noise in the coming weeks, maybe months, and that's a good thing. Then those who are happy with the status quo will be smoked out. Often these are people who are least expected to hold these attitudes, but they are also the ones who benefit the most from the situation as it is now.
Fans must avoid falling into the trap and become these people's good helpers. In that case, we will just repeat this circle - over and over again.
We’re bottom of the form table , have been ahead for about 2 mins all season , brighton aside played pretty poorly even in the games we’ve won , suffered our worst derby home defeat since the 80’s , shipped 5 to Watford , lost to palace at selhurst for the first time in a decade , won one game since September but yeah its all going to plan .
If you’re happy mate fair enough .Personally I’m fed up and angry .
Ancelotti finished 10th last year, and had us up near the top half of the table, for a substantial portion of the season.Ancelotti and Benitez, two of the most successful coaches around, have had this bunch in the bottom half.
It would be a very, very brave move to put a Ferguson or Rooney in charge.
Yeah it's a tough one. With the Moshiri track record it will probably be Mourinho.….absolutely. I have no idea who the right person for this job is but we can’t continue to pluck dinosaurs off the managerial merry-go-round, especially somebody as obnoxious as Benitez.
We are better than lots of teams in this league, we need somebody progressive and hungry to be a success rather than somebody dining out on what they did a decade ago. Its the most difficult appointment any club has to make, surely Moshiri can employ people who will find us the right man.
Rafael, right lads we soak up pressure and hit teams on the counter attack and winThe performance and results are a bit worrying, I must admit. On the other hand, it is a bit as expected. Sorry mate, but that doesn't make any sense, the circle as you put it, I would call it a noose by the way - but semantics aside the reality is that Everton is not in ANYWAY learning from the last several years. The performance and results are a bit worrying, I must admit. On the other hand, it is a bit as expected. It takes time before the effects of changes become visible. It is not a linear process, although we like to think it is.

Hahaha not a hope in hell this team will get any sort of resultWhy does that matter? The teams over the last 20 years are not playing there this weekend.
We had not won at Anfield in a long time and the team did that last season. There is always a chance.
