"We'll be relegated....we'll be relegated!!!!!"

Even if we went on a little run of form and shot up the table, as soon as we lose a game it'll get nasty again. When you don't have great players (which we don't) you at least need some sort of connection between the squad, the manager and the fans - a togetherness that we're all in this together, it's us against the world. We'll never have that whilst he's here and he'll always be one loss away from a crisis. Not removing him now is just delaying the inevitable... and that's coming from someone who was willing to give him a chance at the start of the season.
Let's get it straight, sacking him and getting another manager isn't going to make the team better, it's not! We may get a new manager bounce but ultimately this team has shown time and time again they aren't good enough, they have no fight, no pride - they just about go through the motions. Binning Benitez solves very little on the pitch but off it, it can at least get the fans back on side and create some much needed unity.
I agree. Firing Benitez solves very little. As for the fans, good results will make them change their minds. Football is pretty easy that way.

This is how he spent £70 million at Newcastle btw:

Muto
Jacob Murphy
Dwight Gayle
Richie
Lejeune
Almiron.

And that’s before prices went through the roof. Make no mistake, give him £100 million and it’s up in smoke.
But he spent no money at newcastle. He gained money.

At least that's how the net spend crew see it. Just ignore the 157m outgoing fees because of a negative net spend.
