He'll be sorting out transfers for January. I dont think there's a remote chance he gets sacked before the window, no matter what happens. And I mean no matter what.

Moshiri loses massive face by bowing to pressure from supporters who he stared down in the summer to land Benitez, and he got shut of club staff including the DoF and has backed the restructuring plans of Benitez.

He knows he's personally fireproof because fans want that stadium built more than they want Benitez out. I would settle down for a long wait on the Benitez front. He may get sacked end of season, but not before then.

IMO.

BUT his tactics are getting LESS out of them than Carlo, much much less. We have been twatted by Watford and Palace and easily brushed aside by Brentford. It's his tactics that won't change regardless of personnel the man is out dated and will dig us further into the mire!

Benitez isn’t as good as Ancelotti. Hardly anyone is. This is still what people don’t understand. We had one of the best managers of all time at the club, one of the best in football history, a manager who is now sauntering to another league title and will be the only manager to win a title in the five top leagues, the only manager in the modern era to win 3 CLs with different clubs, the only other man being his direct student.

But even he, even Carlo Ancelotti could get barely anything more than bang average sit deep and get one on the break out of this group of utter balloons. No wonder he ran off as quickly as possible. Anyone watching the Spurs home game as a manager would probably have resigned after seeing those clowns Keane and Holgate throw away a win that was down to your tactics.

Benitez isn’t in Ancelotti’s class, and Lo and behold he’s getting even less out of these league one chumps. What’s laughable though is that most of this forum thinks a complete unknown ‘progressive’ manager is going to come in and suddenly have them performing. Michael Keane can barely kick a ball without giving a goal away, Coleman can’t even trap a football, Holgate doesn’t know what way we’re shooting most of the time.

The squad is an abomination. It has been since Koeman gutted it. The manager is completely irrelevant. These players have to leave.

Unbelievable that people have actually got to the point where they’re defending Brands, Kenwright, and even now this squad of players. So much for ‘get rid of the lot of them’ that was being banded round at the end of last season. More like ‘can we keep these consistent failures in place please because they make a convenient argument for our agendas against the manager’
They're attempting to face both ways and turning themselves inside out to justify their lust to remove the manager.

It's quite a spectacle.

i know you like the 1.7m spent quote. So we can swerve that.
the 1.7m is nothing to do with the same defence and defenders though. Explain why the same defence is drastically worse under benitez.
No Mina for half of the season. No RB again with Coleman another season older and worse.

Not sure Moshiri is actually in a position to scupper the stadium at this point. Or if not right now, in about 6 months he won’t be due to the amount of progress that will have been made on it.

So if that’s the case he’s bought a few months time via the stadium for very little as far as I can see.

You're absolutely bonkers.

He's gone after Chelsea.

Bottom line is a lot of people never even gave him a chance because of who he previously managed.

I believe in giving someone a fair opportunity and thought as a club the fanbase did too.

I've been sadly disappointed to find this isn't the case and if it has done nothing else it has opened my eyes to the actual moral standards people hold. I certainly won't hold up Evertonians as some example of great support in the future, i support Everton but a bond has certainly been broke with me in respect of if not the fanbase at least the majority of supporters on here.

That's not the fault of Benitez, it's about fairness and giving someone a chance. This his face doesn't fit and name calling has all the characteristics of bullying that has scarred so many lives that i find it abhorrent and sad that so many find such happiness in it.
Why on earth would you think that?

It may not matter to you, it does matter to many people.

You were daft to hold up Evertonians as an "example of great support" anyway. They are human, fans of a football club, just like any other club. There are good ones and bad ones and ones you will agree with and not agree with.

From the very beginning it was obvious that this would happen.

To be honest, and I mean this with all due respect as I think you are a decent sort, but it sounds like you have been incredibly naive through all of this and are now shocked that not everybody thinks the same way you do. Not everybody is the same.

Can you just say with a straight face that Pickford, Doucoure and Richarlison are all failures? I’m just picking those three btw - there are others.

Pickford hasn’t been very good for us. I’m one of his biggest fans as well. He was very good in 17/18, had a great World Cup, then he had two awful seasons. At times last season he was dropping a ball into his own net almost every game. He had a very good euros, and is now back in some good form.

Richarlison has scored a high of 13 league goals for us in his best season. When he’s on it he’s very good but there’s plenty of times he’s not on it.

Doucoure has been injured for a lot of the time he’s been here. His technique is questionable but he has a good engine of used in the right position which he now seems to be rather than the inside right channel Ancelotti had him.

If they’re the three you picked as examples of players not being failures then it doesn’t say much about the rest of the squad. There’s 100 mill of talent there, I’d expect them to be able to perform passably which is probably the score I’d give all of them.
