Not sure Moshiri is actually in a position to scupper the stadium at this point. Or if not right now, in about 6 months he won’t be due to the amount of progress that will have been made on it.

So if that’s the case he’s bought a few months time via the stadium for very little as far as I can see.
But he cant be hounded by these fans in the same way Johnson and then Kenwright was...we saw that the other day with the failure of the 27 minute nonsense. They were practically genuflecting to Moshiri and apologising for the protest - imploring him to "protect his investment".

Pickford hasn’t been very good for us. I’m one of his biggest fans as well. He was very good in 17/18, had a great World Cup, then he had two awful seasons. At times last season he was dropping a ball into his own net almost every game. He had a very good euros, and is now back in some good form.

Richarlison has scored a high of 13 league goals for us in his best season. When he’s on it he’s very good but there’s plenty of times he’s not on it.

Doucoure has been injured for a lot of the time he’s been here. His technique is questionable but he has a good engine of used in the right position which he now seems to be rather than the inside right channel Ancelotti had him.

If they’re the three you picked as examples of players not being failures then it doesn’t say much about the rest of the squad. There’s 100 mill of talent there, I’d expect them to be able to perform passably which is probably the score I’d give all of them.
I’ve picked those 3 obviously I could mention DCL, Digne, Gray etc.

The reality is you don’t expect world class from 1-11 for a mid table or even Euros League level team.

The main point is you’ve made positive comments on all 3 and yet we are floundering badly - there is no way with the 6 players listed above that we should be anywhere near the relegation zone.

You have to look at the management I’m afraid.

Totally agree he should be got at more - and there is nothing to fear from the carpet bagger because the stadium is too far down the line now.

Comical the last 24 hours worth of rumours though: first we hear that Kenwright is determined to have a showdown with Moshiri about Benitez, then we hear the Galloot is wanting to quit in protest....and yet the pair of them are still here.

Just as if the pair of them are jumping off this gravy train!

You cant knock it for entertainment value like. It's pure gold.

It's the fact modern day football is about pressing & we don't do that and won't under this manager

There are many average managers out their that would do better with our squad as they would implement double training sessions so at a minimum we would be battling from first minute to last with energy

Are Simms & Branthewaite really that bad to not even get afew minutes when a change is needed?

Things aren't great but the one way to lift the mood is to get rid of Rafael, he is finished at this level

Those saying we should keep him have to understand he is never going to take us forward he is only going to dig the hole deeper. If you are fine with that sure carry on supporting him nothing good will come of this out moded, vindictive negative manager who is way past his sell by date. What's more he now has the power to fill the squad with more dross. He is digging us further into a hole, deeper and falling out with our key players. The manager will never be accepted. He set up against Palace like they were a top six team they've just lost their last three! He says we can't keep the ball well coach them then! It's a squad of internationals. You say Richy did nothing yesterday but stop launching it to his head then. He says we run more but we run because we never have the ball and sit there waiting to get beat again, a total lack of fight yesterday Palace were first to every ball and dominated us. The fans have turned and without the fans support we will struggle. Abysmal appointment who is their icon not ours, nothing good will come of his tenure. Nothing. But digging us deeper.

Benitez isn’t as good as Ancelotti. Hardly anyone is. This is still what people don’t understand. We had one of the best managers of all time at the club, one of the best in football history, a manager who is now sauntering to another league title and will be the only manager to win a title in the five top leagues, the only manager in the modern era to win 3 CLs with different clubs, the only other man being his direct student.

But even he, even Carlo Ancelotti could get barely anything more than bang average sit deep and get one on the break out of this group of utter balloons. No wonder he ran off as quickly as possible. Anyone watching the Spurs home game as a manager would probably have resigned after seeing those clowns Keane and Holgate throw away a win that was down to your tactics.

Benitez isn’t in Ancelotti’s class, and Lo and behold he’s getting even less out of these league one chumps. What’s laughable though is that most of this forum thinks a complete unknown ‘progressive’ manager is going to come in and suddenly have them performing. Michael Keane can barely kick a ball without giving a goal away, Coleman can’t even trap a football, Holgate doesn’t know what way we’re shooting most of the time.

The squad is an abomination. It has been since Koeman gutted it. The manager is completely irrelevant. These players have to leave.
Carlo undoubtedly strengthened the team with a few additions , once injuries and suspensions kicked in we struggled badly with no back up players in the squad.
If Madrid hadnt come calling I'm sure ( if he stayed ) he would have added a few more players of the right quality.

Its not that 'no manager can fix this '
Its getting the right manager with the right recruitment that is proven in every successful club.

Unfortunately the right manager left and we are back to square one with this [Poor language removed] show.
