His cast offs have been some of the better performers this season would’nt you say.. Gray and Townsend.. as for alienating all the best players there only best players when there performing... are you telling me Richarlison was performing against Palace, for me he was starved of good service but never helped himself by not trying to get involved more.. I would go as far as to say his attitude left a lot to be desired to when he came off... all the flapping his arms about and showing how upset he was to come off just set Benitez up to be the fall guy with the fans which they duly swallowed hook line and sinker.. did you notice the first thing he did when he sat on the bench was receive treatment.. this sort of thing players are doing towards managers is why the club is rotten to the core at present, the attitude stinks.. it’s the same with Digne, another player who has performed poorly most of season and because of that doesn’t have a leg to stand on when complaining about being dropped, his attitude leaves a lot to be desired..

I just think fans need to ask themselves a few questions.. no matter which managers come in why is the end result always the same... why do Everton players like picking up obscene amounts of wages but don’t like earning them, these players are answerable to you.. the fans.. if they get beat because they are not good enough fine.. just as long as they put a shift in..

The problem the players have is they have a manager now in charge who simply won’t tolerate freeloaders.. you have all heard from previous players he has managed this man leaves no stone unturned and is the one who turns the light off at night in Finch Farm...he’s a disciplinarian and managers every single aspect from top to bottom at his football club.. let’s be honest.. if any of us had a boss like that it would be a nightmare to work under and that’s why certain players struggle and fall out with him.. having said that it’s good from a fan point of view because you know the manager is working his socks off to get things right and not caring who he upsets doing it..
It just needs time, he knows what he’s doing just allow him to do it with a few transfer windows and let him get his own tactics and own players to perform it... then judge.. don’t judge him on having to work with the previous four managers players..
Quite an interesting posting history fella.

I agree, I want us to finish higher than 10th this season. I do not really care about the points total that gets us there.

Where we are now means nothing other than to show how we are performing in relation to other teams around us, and even after a v bad run, the top half is not too far from our reach thankfully. Stay positive!

What the effing jeffing do we have to be positive about??

But Everton couldn’t spend any money in the summer because of the P&S rules. Should have a bit of leeway in January but it’s not gonna be loads
That’s a matter of opinion - some say it’s an excuse cooked up by Moshiri.

What we can say is that rather than backing him, Moshiri has more realistically set the waiter up to fail.

I wonder how we do against;

Burnley
Newcastle
Brighton

To take us into January

9pts needed from them to steer towards safety.
The way we get dragged into a proper relegation battle is losing to those sides. We can't afford to lose to any of them, particularly the sides currently in the bottom three or we'll be bang in trouble. 7 points minimum from those 3, with the wins preferably coming against Burnley and Newcastle to keep them below us.

What has truly compounded this horror run we're on is the lack of draws we've had, as only a few more extra points would virtually have us clear of any danger. The fact that we've had so few draws despite the fact that the manager seems to approach every game looking for a 0-0 is a real testament to badly he is underperforming.

Who says that?

It’s well documented, we were right up s*** creek.

Moshiri hasn’t made our losses up…

Have a look around, Jordan was saying it yesterday - others have as well

I have no opinion because I dont know enough, but I am not ruling it out.

The only club to be in such a position, a position from which no club has ever been fined or deducted points.............interesting to say the least.

Tony Scott was giving a passionate defence of Rafael on his (I don’t subscribe, just heard a clip). Mad how some blues have decided of all the hills to die on, this is the one.
This. I don’t understand why any supporter would back any manager so passionately…it’s just strange.

They are literally caretakers of the club…if they aren’t performing to the level required -and in Benitez’s case causing us to flirt dangerously with the relegation battle then questions have to be asked and ultimately if it isn’t improving he has to go…exactly like Martinez, koeman, Silva etc

For my sins I thought Benitez would be a good, solid appointment.

I’ve just found myself starting to not care if we win or lose and for the first time missed a couple of games recently out of choice. It’s not an enjoyable experience supporting Everton at the minute, divided fanbase and a dreadful football team.

Almiron
Aquilairi
Rondon x2
Babel
Muto

Mate... you make out like Benitez has an eye for signings.... Crouch for 9.5m back in the day is like a 30m signing these days... his approach to signings to scattergun and hope one sticks...

then fall out with them.

I probably wouldn't use our old signings and Benitez transfer dealings as something to one up with, it definitely won't work.

Why have you cherry picked players from Liverpool and Newcastle?
