He went for €12.5m (so about £10m) with an additional €2.5m depending on apps and champs league qualification. You are talking crap again.
Most reports say he went for €15m. Doesn’t matter anyway because we don’t know how the deal was set up from us. Wasn’t we trying to loan him till next season and then buy him?.

The unmoving object that is Rondon... should have been left to rot in China.

Hate to say it but despite the poor form we have been in and terrible results.

Another build up or injuries over the next few weeks as we are seeing is just going to buy benitez more time.

Can't expect him now to turn it around with his best players all out again.

Yeah let's let him loose when we finally have some money to spend, to bring some more of his geordie cast offs in. One win in two months, and him driving out and alienating all our best players. But yeah let's give him a chance. There's one key fatal flaw in your argument. Martinez Silva and Koeman weren't kopite scumbags. So normal rules don't apply here.
His cast offs have been some of the better performers this season would’nt you say.. Gray and Townsend.. as for alienating all the best players there only best players when there performing... are you telling me Richarlison was performing against Palace, for me he was starved of good service but never helped himself by not trying to get involved more.. I would go as far as to say his attitude left a lot to be desired to when he came off... all the flapping his arms about and showing how upset he was to come off just set Benitez up to be the fall guy with the fans which they duly swallowed hook line and sinker.. did you notice the first thing he did when he sat on the bench was receive treatment.. this sort of thing players are doing towards managers is why the club is rotten to the core at present, the attitude stinks.. it’s the same with Digne, another player who has performed poorly most of season and because of that doesn’t have a leg to stand on when complaining about being dropped, his attitude leaves a lot to be desired..

I just think fans need to ask themselves a few questions.. no matter which managers come in why is the end result always the same... why do Everton players like picking up obscene amounts of wages but don’t like earning them, these players are answerable to you.. the fans.. if they get beat because they are not good enough fine.. just as long as they put a shift in..

The problem the players have is they have a manager now in charge who simply won’t tolerate freeloaders.. you have all heard from previous players he has managed this man leaves no stone unturned and is the one who turns the light off at night in Finch Farm...he’s a disciplinarian and managers every single aspect from top to bottom at his football club.. let’s be honest.. if any of us had a boss like that it would be a nightmare to work under and that’s why certain players struggle and fall out with him.. having said that it’s good from a fan point of view because you know the manager is working his socks off to get things right and not caring who he upsets doing it..
It just needs time, he knows what he’s doing just allow him to do it with a few transfer windows and let him get his own tactics and own players to perform it... then judge.. don’t judge him on having to work with the previous four managers players..

I took that from Di Marzio who I believe is a fairly well respected source (I may be wrong). And it adds up to the €15m you suggest.

But it certainly isn't the £18m that theon was trying to claim to make make benitez look better.

We will still be being told that in 2 years time down in league 1.

"You can't judge him as he has never had a full squad with 0 injuries".

@Theoneandonly

You only signed up to say Everton should appoint Benitez.

Im not sure why you use terms such as "us" and "we".

No one cares if youre an Evertonian or not.

He's got 15 months left. His contract was for 18 months.

From what I understand the 12m is for the 18 months, so 8m per year. He was on 6m at Newcastle.

He hardly relegated Newcastle, he only had 9 matches to save them and they only lost twice in those matches. Steve McClaren relegated them

Carragher was on the verge of being sold when Rafael got there, he was tried as a right back, midfielder and many other positions. Rafael moved him in the middle and he became one of the best centre backs in the league. Gerrard was utilised as a deep holding midfielder and a right midfielder until Rafael got there and turned him in to the best attacking midfielder in the league.

His signings at Liverpool include Reina, Agger, Skrtel, Sissoko, Xabi Alonso, Luis Garcia, Zenden, Crouch, Bellamy, Kuyt, Aurelio, Mascherano, Torres, Benayoun, Lucas, Meireles. He also transformed their academy and brought in Sterling, Suso, Wisdom, Flanagan, Ayala, Coady, Spearing. Was partly responsible for bringing in Suarez and Coutinho too.

His time at Inter was a failure, but he asked for investment in order to overhaul the ageing squad, which was denied and look at them now. What have they achieved since?

He was a success at Chelsea, no matter how you look at it. Took them from 7th to 3rd. Won the Europa League. Turned David Luiz and Mata in to 50m players. Was actually going to take over in the Summer before, but the champions league win brought Di Matteo some more time. Rafael left on good terms with Roman and the players.

His time at Napoli was a huge success. Won the League Cup, haven't won it since. Won their charity shield for the first time in 14 years, haven't won it since. Got to the semi finals of the Europa league. Haven't got as far in Europe since. Finished 3rd and 5th in the league, which is about average for them. The Owner wanted him to stay and offered him a 3 year deal, but Rafael was homesick.

Signed Mertens, Callejon, Albiol, Higuain, De Guzman, Gabbiadini, Jorginho, Zapata, Reina, Koulibali, Ghoulam at Napoli. A team which set them up for years.

His time at Madrid was average. He wasn't allowed to sign any players apart from Casemeiro due to the amount spent the previous few years. He wanted to get rid of players, but wasn't allowed. Got told which players he had to play and had interference in all his operations. Unbeaten in the Champions League, 3rd in the league with a game in hand when he left.

His time at Newcastle can't be considered less than a success, he's worshiped up there
The Ricky Ryder equivalent for... Benitez. That thought makes me throw up a little, to even think it would be possible for someone to have such an irrational love for a manager.

Probably down to the last 2 days of his tenure tbh as we are going to get absolutely trounced by Chelsea on Thursday and i doubt even he can survive 1 win out of 11 or 5 points out of 33. Moshi likes to receive as much damage as humanly possible before he does anything about it and i would say this qualifies as a lot of damage.
