Callejon was fine for 10m (again from Real Madrid but more of a fringe player).

Maybe I am going to far the other way here but I like the truth being told! He made some alright signings at Napoli before leaving after a pretty average time there.

De Guzman played 36 games in Rafas 1st season, scoring 7 goals.

Gabbiadini got 1 season under Rafael, scored 11 in 30. 2 seasons before he had 10 goals in 35 games for Sampdoria.

The fact that your belittling Rafael for singing proven international players is absurd.

Rafael took one of those Napoli players to Newcastle a few years later, Fernandez and Newcastle supports are now Criticising Howe for playing Lascelles over him.

This of course was after Benitez had brought in his own fitness fella after blaming all of the injury problems on the one he sacked.

Doesn't take a genius to work out he wasn't fully fit.

I am not belittling Benitez at all, I am belittling YOU for constantly talking absolute garbage on here about him. And I will continue to do so if you keep bringing up lies and massive exaggerations.

Signing already proven quality players for big money is not a sign of someone who is good in the transfer market. It's obvious stuff.

De Guzman scored 4 of those goals in the Europa League, 3 of which against Young Boys Bern who they should be beating, even we beat them. You already knew that though didn't you? He played one season for them then got binned off before disappearing into a footballing wasteland (with a short stop at Frankfurt).
