He’s made it very clear that Davies is his last choice midfielder. He’s made it clear that Iwobi is behind even Gordon in the pecking order. Kenny hasn’t been seen once. Tosun is clearly up for sale.

He has a blind spot over Keane which will continue to cost him but with Mina injured and Holgate and Godfrey bang out of form then there’s not a load of options available at CB.

We have a better chance of winning games in the long term with the likes of Gray Docuoure Allan Townsend in the team than we did when we had Davies Siggurdson Bernard shuffling around at walking pace in midfield.

They’ve been in the team all season and look at us.

Take a look at the squad at this club and then take the best 4/5 out for massive amounts of the season and tell me any manager could adapt to that and have us within 3 points of the top half of the table.

They’ll be nomads, heading off to the next club to infest their fora with in depth statistical analyses of the excellence of Benitez.

When Rafael finally shuffles off the mortal coil they’ll be found dead themselves three days later in a Hastings AirBnB, lying on bunk beds and all clad in the same tracksuit / trainers combo. All of their computer equipment will be been memory-deleted, apart from identical copies of the same tribute to Benitez and one keyboard with all the keys removed apart from b, e, n, i, t, z and Alt-GR (as it stands for God Rafael). Quite a backward way of thinking in my opinion. I don't like confrontation myself, but I've never saw it as a positive trait. This is team sport, not party politics.

We had Dom, Doucoure, Allan, James, Mina, Coleman out by the back end of last season. Holgate played the majority of the season at RB and our two main wingers were Iwobi and Richy.

As much as I rated James when he was on the pitch for us, I tend to agree - however I'd have preferred to keep him. We desperately lack quality, he has it in spades.

Townsend isn’t. Started off ok. Been poor fora while I’m glad he’s injured, Sick of seeing his name in the staring 11 Every week.
One of Rafael’s favourites. Get use to it as when he’s back, He will be straight back in. While Rafael is here Townsend will be the in team

Since when is being confrontational and divisive seen as positive characteristics.

It's clear he won't overhaul the squad because he wants to fall out with all the better players. In fairness, the players should be calling him out because his tactics have led to this abysmal run of form. I'd be more concerned if they weren't arguing with each other.

Anyone who lives for confrontation is immature and needs to grow up. He's a man in his 60s.
