Genuine question… He’s not my first choice, but would you honestly not have taken Moyes over Benitez, either at the time, or now in hindsight?
Yeah but thats another one, when Moyes was talked about loads of blues went mad and came out with nonsense like "This stinks of Kenwright", however i dont think he was ever coming back and we have no chance now the way West Ham are, I would have him but its not realistic, besides he wont have forget how the unsavory minority of our fan base reacted to him after he left.
Originally i wanted Nuno but many talked me out of it, right now a lot still wouldnt want Nuno and im not sure i would myself, now. I would be happy with Lampard but not convinced our current circumstanes it would be a good idea

It's a really depressing situation. I've fallen out with posters, that i generally had a positive history with over Benitez. I'm sure once Benitez has gone, then the scars will eventually heal. I knew this was going to be a disaster right from the start, and i see no reason to change my mind. As i said before, a marriage of two different faiths that was doomed as soon as it began.

Benitez has now come out saying some of thr players show effort etc etc

The bloke is doomed. At least he'll have a tonne turkey this Xmas with the payoff

Oh well. Another manager search.

Bring back x factor

There will be no return for many of these quislings.

You're a poor excuse for a human being.

Ignored, long overdue.
I'm not sure what to do here. I didn't do anything to you. I didn't call you any names, so on that front i have nothing to apologise for. I just made a suggestion seeing that you love Benitez so much, and now hate your fellow fans, that you might be happier supporting another club. The geordies or the rs, would be more suitable clubs for people like you.

He's by a long distance the biggest whopper on here .
And considering the competition I don't say that lightly.

Nice to see a couple of the Rafael nation are starting to pop their heads out again after Sundays embarrassment . Let's see where they are from 10 tomorrow night
But from what I hear (second hand admittedly) he has identified & called out the players he thinks aren’t up to it and they don’t like it.
There are a number regarded as poison who are not pulling their finger out for the team & disrupting things, including x players.
Apparently he is well liked by the non playing staff (why not, I think he’s a decent guy at heart?).

I know the comments are legit & from someone well known (I promised no names, sorry), whether they’re correct is something else?
Got to say I was staggered when I was told them - thought it would be all placed on Benitez. Not all all.

What about players calling him out as not been up to it. Anything on that .

Excellent; about time these fannies heard some home truths.

I think the people still criticising Benitez for the Richarlison substitution post his explanation of why (I.e he’s injured) need to recognise that their negativity is part of the problem here

Looking back at last season’s results - we got some incredible results against top teams

Looking at who played - the biggest difference is DCL being consistently available last year. Also, Sigurdsson was pretty well involved. We were missing Coleman last season and Holgate played a fair bit at right back

We had James also who provided a lift and quality but missed quite a few games

A key difference also was the feel that Ancelotti brought and the confidence that inspired in all parties. I think largely because of the Liverpool connection, there is underlying negative towards Benitez, which is part of the problem at the moment - and driven by emotion rather than logic

Fans can do their job helping the success of the team by getting behind Raf’a
