Shame on our fans for wanting better then we are seeing at the moment .
We should all sit down quietly and let Benitez do as he pleases and just be glad we have him.
The real shame is not giving a manager a fair chance and judging him while his hands are tied behind his back, people never did this with previous managers why are they doing it now.. be fair about it and give him the same chance as in funds and time as the others.

I don't think he's got the leanness to link his hands behind his back tbh, not with all that back fat in the way.

If you don't think we would chase other managers for this form then you havent been a blue while we had Martinez, Koeman, and Silva.

Benitez is doing a worse job than ALL of then.

Well if people want to compare what or what isn’t acceptable let’s look across the board and judge fairly.. we both know Benitez and his history mean he will never get a fair crack with some people no matter how good he might become.
We also don't know if he might actually become good but we have plenty of evidence right now that he isn't good enough for the job.

You do understand human emotions right?

The way people keep saying give him a chance are almost robotic in how they expect people to just "forget" the past.

It would be nice if they could and life would probably be easier if they did but they wont do that. Its not really in a humans (especially a football fans) nature.

I really don't understand how people struggle with this concept. Maybe I don't understand human emotions either from the other side?

Based on the evidence at hand now he deserves to be sacked. Speculating on how good he may be is baseless fantasy that has no place in reasoned decision making.

Yeah but thats another one, when Moyes was talked about loads of blues went mad and came out with nonsense like "This stinks of Kenwright", however i dont think he was ever coming back and we have no chance now the way West Ham are, I would have him but its not realistic, besides he wont have forget how the unsavory minority of our fan base reacted to him after he left.
Originally i wanted Nuno but many talked me out of it, right now a lot still wouldnt want Nuno and im not sure i would myself, now. I would be happy with Lampard but not convinced our current circumstanes it would be a good idea
Moyes wasn’t someone many people wanted, but I reckon in a head to head choice vs Benitez, the Iberian dinosaur would have had a single digit % of the vote. Would have been Dave and couple of his fellow loons.

Think we almost certainly could have gotten Moyes in the summer. Our chance now is approximately zero. Quite possibly the same with Potter.

Am still waiting to hear who all these Benitez haters want to replace him with who is going to miraculously turn the team into a top ten team this season.
I bet if he was replaced they would claim any wins from the easier fixtures coming up after Xmas and New Year was down to the new manager and Benitez would never of won them so you can never win with people like that.

They always say you can really see the true identity of a fanbase when things are bad and that applies here with the name calling and treatment of the manager, a good fanbase bonds together firmer during adversity not splits. Yes Benitez was a controversial apointment however look at the other names linked none came close in experience to what this club needs which most agree is rotten from top to bottom with a massive clear out it needed, who out of those names was capable of upsetting people and making those difficult decisions to those who had it cushy for years under previous regimes..Nuno.. Potter or even Duncan.. don’t think so.
I would have took potter all day, not Nuno or Howe or Dunc. At least potter plays the right way. And sats will tell if Brighton had a quality striker they would be top half.

I also get the, you can’t keep sacking manager shouts. And I was behind Benitez, yes he’s been unlucky with injuries , but 30% possession at palace is a disgrace. And I’m not sure with a fully fit team, we’d have more. Yes we may be able to implement his style better, but that style won’t get us anywhere long term.

His appointment has caused rifts,
Everywhere. Amongst the fans, the players and in the boardroom. He needs to go and we need a young manager, who plays a modern winning style. A DOF whos on the same page and they can build Something long term. Get rid of the wasters out the club on huge money, get the right people in too run the academy. And buy the right players, who fit the system. The issue is will Moshiri let that happen.

No :(

Of all the quotes, i’m most concerned in his admission that he spoke with senior players today and told them we need to stick together.

He’s losing the players with his divisive approach and they’re not buying into his game plan. They don’t have any faith in this fat fraud’s “tactics”. Picking on popular professionals like Digne doesn’t happen in a vacuum- the players are looking at each other thinking wtf!

Moyes has done well, but got lucky with injuries and lingaard having the spell of his life. It’s breezed confidence and continuity. But they have a striker who’s not scoring and have lost their 2 CB’s. Let’s see how things pan out if their injuries become worse.

I wouldn’t want moyes anywhere near Everton. It’s been and gone, he would also have parts of the fan Base against from day one.
