There was a clear correlation straight away between people who didn't support Ancelotti and those who refused to accept any criticism of Benitez.

It was extremely strange, and there was no logic to it. It's a completely bizarre angle to demand people support for an inept former reds manager, when they couldn't support one of the all time best.

The shouts about Ancelotti last year look absolutely ridiculous now. A top manager who did a very decent job.

I hardly ever agree with him on anything, but I don't put people on ignore. It's good for the forum to have different views, even ones I think are a bit ridiculous, as long as things stay civil.

I think that's the biggest issue with this appointment. We are falling out amongst ourselves and that's far from good.

I have loads on ignore. No problem with difference of opinions . I have an issue with wums . But each to their own

We could actually try and look outside the 'PL experience' thing for a new manager it's a limited market and hasn't served us well up till now.

But Moshiri wont look outside the PL mate so there is no point calling for the managers head when we know the realistic candidates we'll be looking at bringing in aint much better.

Is it Moshiri or others? It's noticeable that we've only recruited PL experienced managers for years, yet we took the punt on Brands in arguably an extremely crucial post.

Maybe this perhaps belies some of the issues and power struggles behind the scenes.

Would it really matter if I was a blue.. red.. or fan of another club on here.. surely it’s what a person says which is important and if you think there is an element of truth in his comments.. if a person agrees then fine.. if he doesn’t then all he has to do is put an alternative point across about why he disagrees or simply just move on to next post.. calling people out or even witch hunts are not really making the forum better are they..

Just for record I am not accusing you of either the above, just saying it doesn’t really matter what the background is just more about the point they are making.
