People make me laugh talking about Mourinho and his pragmatic setup. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, but he's 10x the manager Benitez is who plays the same football.

He is a very modern method progressive training ground type coach, a stat boys wet dream. His teams create a ridiculous amount of chances (even as much as City) and also manage to balance defending whilst keeping good possession of the ball. the issue with Brighton is they don't have anyone who can stick it in the back of the net on a regular basis and they don't really have the funds to go and buy a 20 goal a season striker.

Id love it if whoever you support bring him in. Im sure they wont even have to pay us any fee at this point.

Newcastle have a manager already. And the fans are quite happy with who they have got so he won't be going there anytime soon.

Any argument that Benitez is a better manager though is absolutely null and void.

Imagine how bad he must really be, if they think Benitez is a progressive manager lol

I`m still clinging onto the fact, that Howe might bail and his ever loving loony Geordies would welcome Fat Boy back with open arms.

I think people would rather a manager come in who doesn't care about anything other than cashing cheques.

The fact that Rafael has come in and is trying to cleanse the club, doesn't sit right with people.

Feck right off lad, stop using "we" and "us"....... We as supporters know about the problems at Our club without being lectured by the likes of you. Benny boy will leave US in a worse situation than when he was appointed.

Mutterings from who? Always will be regardless of manager. There is at city by some supporters as well and they actually win things.

The people (my mates and inlaws etc who are matchgoers) I ask about him and whether fans are behind him etc are all positive about him and fully back him still.

Mate, I am 100% behind a rebuild with a manager who will come in and give identity and hope to the fans. I do not, let me make this clear, want any manager from England or has managed in this league. I am not bothered I want to rip up the book and start again.

Benitez is not that, he has never been involved in a rebuilding of a club, and he got the job because he lives local.

That's the be all and end all, he is not the right man for the club, nothing to do with Liverpool, its to do with the fact he's been on a downward spiral for years and is living off past exploits, he's a dinosaur of football - and our performances, set up and management show that.

Is Mourinho on a downward spiral.. trophies won at Porto.. Chelsea.. Inter. Madrid., United, none at Spurs and now at Roma... so basically you would’nt want him either..

If you read a few of my comments further on, I completely say the same

I wouldn't touch Mourinho with a barge pole... same football as this mess we have now. With Mourinho its about the football and the confrontation - he isn't going to build a club back us, 10x the manager Benitez is though.

Personally I've seen quite a few comments in various places from their own fans and opposite fans who are saying Howe is outdated. The main thing they talk about is his 442 tactics and his choice of players. They're saying he's out of his depth.
