Well then its not really hype then is it if he was being talked about at least for spurs also.
He's just being noticed as a potential good coach. I dont know why people want to knock him down.
Same. It's probably his name! They'd prefer Gerardo Pot Pourri!
Pep says he's the best English manager, not bad praise at all. Solid team, good football, no budget, happy players...what's not to like?!

I agree with you there mate. The sooner you take him back to get stuck into the rebuilding the better.

One of the greatest things I've ever seen.

Would pay £300million bitcoin for that NFT

Am intrigued, besides Valencia, could you name a rebuilding project he has ever done... besides the china thing...

Don't see to remember him rebuilding any club before.
I understand what you say but the truth is with the squad he inherited and the FFP situation and given the fact he lives local and wants to stay ,that is why I am going along with him ,not that I wanted or want him here now just facing the facts .We might get Potter or someone like that but we might not .

Mate, I am 100% behind a rebuild with a manager who will come in and give identity and hope to the fans. I do not, let me make this clear, want any manager from England or has managed in this league. I am not bothered I want to rip up the book and start again.

Benitez is not that, he has never been involved in a rebuilding of a club, and he got the job because he lives local.

That's the be all and end all, he is not the right man for the club, nothing to do with Liverpool, its to do with the fact he's been on a downward spiral for years and is living off past exploits, he's a dinosaur of football - and our performances, set up and management show that.

The China thing? Where his remit was to establish them in the top half of the table and get them challenging yet he only survived relegation through a playoff?
Yeah exactly mate, he was employed there to rebuild a club from top to bottom, and how did that finish up??

Not exactly a success, that's the only role I can think of which you would call a rebuild.

And its a failure.

Sad but true. Everyone was reeling from Carlo upping and leaving, including Moshiri. I reckon Moshiri, the board, everyone were hoping for Carlo to take us to Bramley Moore and was getting the backing. Now we have someone with nowhere else to go instead
