The Spurs performance was horrendous. Spurs were just as bad that was all.

The second half v Arsenal was really good.

Today we should have been 3-0 down after 30 mins but the last 60 mins was excellent from the players and the manager got his tactics spot on from then on.

First 30 mins we did exactly what we did v Palace, Wolves, City etc. Sat in a shape but didn't pressure the ball at all, so Chelsea just walked through us.

But from that Mount chance onwards they started attacking the ball in our final third. And that is fine, that's what you need to do.

So no, the pitchforks aren't going away. The manager has shown tonight supposedly what he's good at. He's only shown it about twice this season before so it was about time. He's also shown that sometimes you just have to adapt, instead of sticking to stuff that wasn't working.

2 wins in 14 games in all comps. Nine points from a possible 36 league points so no, we still have a long way to go.

But, 10 days off now. Get the players rested and in a bubble for the next few days so no COVID infections and, if the league carries on, be back on Boxing Day with an actual workable plan at Turf Moor. Not what we saw v Palace, Wolves, Watford etc etc

Sorry but we got absolutely pummelled in every way tonight except in the most important statistic the final score. If Chelsea had taken half their chances it would have been a masacre. Credit to the players for putting in a shift but we are still in trouble and Benitez needs to go.

That was a great performance. Players grew into the game and deserved the point in the end.

Manager got it right. Far from convinced just yet, it’s been a terrible run with this and Arsenal the only bright moments.

But keep showing the commitment and maybe we’ll be ok.
