Why mate?

What is he showing that he is the right appointee?
Getting shut of Brands, get rid of useless backroom staff, spening less then 2 million and getting 2 really good players including our player of the season so far, yes he is more then showing he was the right apointment unless you can say what he is doing wrong?

Inability to defend or attack a set piece; parking the bus needlessly when points are there for the taking; alienating senior players who like any employee have a right for feedback; persisting with tactics that don’t fit the players; 2 wins since September; goading fans because ‘they don’t understand’.

I could go on but it’s Christmas and good will to all.

When did we last conced from a set piece? He addressed that issue, no senior players have been alienated, as for pesisting with tactics that dont fit the players, what players? half of them are either rubbish or injured, as for goading fans HAHAHA behave, from day one he hasnt had %100 support from the fans and he should of got it from day one, supporting the manager is part of supporting the team, you cant do one without the other

I didn’t go around saying that Watford were a brilliant team just because they beat us.

That’s the difference.

Watford were a poor team, we played worse than they did, they beat us.

Arsenal are a decent team. We played better than them and won.

Yet because some people hate our manager they’re happy to fully accept our failings for the loss and yet write the win down as some sort of lucky fluke, one for the fans, all thanks to Gray.

Stuff like this just ruins the credibility of the anti Benitez argument.
You are the one who picked an isolated game and made out it meant something. I picked another isolated game that, in isolation, also means nothing to illustrate that it did not.

If my argument, which exactly followed your template, ruins my credibility then your original argument must have had no credibility either. I'm sure that you won't see it that way as, despite you accusing anybody that doesn't rate or want Benitez of being blinkered, you will not have a word said against him, nothing is his fault, nothing is his responsibility, but if something good happens it is 100% because of him. You are the black mirror of what you accuse others of being.

Like Martinez after 2014, Koeman, Silva, Allardyce, and to be brutally honest, Ancelotti for a good portion of the time.
So what? Shouldn't we strive for better? Or, because something hasn't been great in the past, we should just accept that nothing will be good ever again?

There is zero evidence that we are on track for an improvement. By every metric we are worse than last season.

If we had a young manager Brands would of walked all over them, and Moshiri too, we need an experienced head who can stand up to these tyrants
I stated I would support him for 12 games - he has us looking like a relegation team - the kids looked better in the last game he substituted Gordon our only outlet in that game - sorry he will be gone we will struggle under him ....

Absolutely laughable. I’ve barely praised him, in fact I’ve said numerous times the results haven’t been good enough. It’s got to the point though where if you don’t fully buy into complete mistruths and factual inaccuracies then you’re labelled as some sort of super fan.

There were loads of people on here calling Arsenal rubbish just because we beat them. Turns out they’re not such a bad team as they sit in 4th in the league. I don’t remember anyone saying Watford were a good team and that was the reason they beat us. That was my argument, not the one you’ve tried to side step it into it.

Try supporting the team and the manager rather than crapping on it every opportunity. Imagine trying to rationalise every win away as ‘ the other team wasn’t very good’. What a sad way to support your team.

The sub of Gordon was right, dont forget many made fools of themselves throwing hissy fits when Richarlison came off a few weeks ago only for his replacement to score and Richy to actually be injured

If we had got beat & we nearly did when Gordon went off - this site would have been in melt down - no game this weekend, so why take the best outfield player off - our only outlet ?

His substitutions baffle me TBH ....... If he saves us from relegation it will be a miracle.....
