That's what we all want but there comes a point after which that likelihood diminishes without change. Change is required. The football is dreadful and the results are poor. Swapping out our left backs and signing a Longstaff is not the change required, imo.
yes, but whatever he did you would be full of criticism. If we were in the top four you'd be complaining daily about his haircut, so surely these opinions can be disregarded almost as soon as they are issued?

It would indeed, just as it would be disingenuous to suggest his appointment hasn't exacerbated the situation.
he's done very well. given the circumstances. He took over a club in crisis. He was promptly given no money to spend, and has had to deal with an injury crisis from hell and a really tough run of fixtures. he's just beaten the form team in the premiership, and got a draw away to the European champions with our second string. He is clearly highly motivated, tactically adept and liked by the players. On top of all that, he is instigating the clear out this club desperately needs.

If you think this is him doing ‘very well’ I’m glad he hasn’t just done ‘well’, we’d be mathematically relegated by now!

Think you will find we also have 19 pts from last 17 games not great but still more than 6 other teams currently. Now that sounds slightly better then count mitigating circumstances....still not great but understandable. He is here till at least the end of the season so we will see where we are when the season ends

19 points from 51 still doesn’t look good. I don’t think anyone expected to be this poor considering he’s supposed to be a tactical genius
