Can someone explain to me how Benitez has earned the right to tear this club and structure apart?
Happy to. Because the club and its structure has been an absolute mess for decades, highlighted even further since the football clueless owner took charge and has made us a circus.

I doubt many have an issue with what he is doing, but that it's Benitez doing it.

I for one don't care any more about any player, or anyone else or that matter, at the current laughing stock that is the Everton FC. Keep going Rafael. Get rid of them all as far as I am concerned.

We need tough love, we're getting tough love, are you old enough to remember the awful football and the state we were in under HK before he turned things, you are showing no patience whatsoever, check your posts, the needle is stuck on the record.
Perhaps you're right...The Digne thing has wound me up tbh...icing on the cake of awful football. I hope he proves me wrong, I'll happily admit it if he does

He's the one that hired and is backing him, was that clueless too?

He being treated like Ferguson at Utd, who, ya know, did earn that right

Because the club is run like a second hand shop off Wavertree Road in the mid 70's so yes it needs to be ripped down and re assess with a short, medium and long term plan adhered to, from culture, values recruitment to wages.

Hope he gets rid of himself when the time comes

So was mine. My worry is that we go to Burnley and he drops them all, or we resort to rondon.
Burnley will be a totally different game than Chelsea... I am not saying it will happen but those younger players might not suit playing against Burnley... the thing with Chelsea is they play football and also as we seen give the opposition a chance to play too.. Burnley on the other hand are all about physical aggression.. brute force and trying to win second balls etc.. younger players still learning could easily struggle in that type of game and being exposed to it might slow there progression.. what I am trying to say is they may of done well at Chelsea but they still need to be protected and managed against certain opposition.. we all know about Rondon and not being the answer however am maybe thinking he would be suited as a battering ram type against Burnley’s two physical centre halfs...

We've been infiltrated by Kopites and their admirers- who've convinced themselves and repeat themselves repeatedly because he was great for them hes going to be great for us and offer every excuse for his failings even though hes been irrelevant for years and was mothballed when we hired him. "Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”,
Great... wasnt he sacked.. did he only win two trophies and only challenged for the League once in all the time he was there.. hardly great by there unrealistic standards..

Hope he gets rid of himself when the time comes
Just to clarify, not saying it will happen but just hypothetically speaking, even if he manages a successful revamp and the club is winning and there is a plan for sustained improvement, will you change your mind?

Rondon a battering ram?
More like a battered lamb.

If he can produce an Everton side playing fast attacking football that dominates and dictates games then he will have a chance to win me over.
So far though he has confirmed my poor opinion of his tactics with negative , reactive football, quickly surrendering the middle third.
Plus for a primarily defensive coach his tactical organisation of the team without possession has been, frankly, woeful.
He is currently a long way from changing my poor opinion of him.

It's ultimately a results business

Problem is that he isn't getting them right now

If he gets them I won't be that arsed about the type of football we're playing

I ask very little from Everton to be honest

I simply want every player to put the effort in and for the manager to tactically set us up with an eye to winning the game

If that means we soak up pressure and end with 25-30% of possession but end up winning the game, then so be it
