If Benitez is given full control for a prolonged period then the club will eventually get relegated.

He plays a version of football that had its day 15 to 20 years ago and he is too stubborn to change.

None of which makes it more palatable.
I support the team whatever, always will.
Any manager has to earn my goodwill.
However, as you say, makes no odds whether I support him or not so at this point I choose not.

This is what is good about Rafael, since Moyes no manager has been powerful and made the right demands and asked the right questions.
Carlo was just a time waster, Silva was out of his depth, Big Sam was standard big Sam banter, Koenan was a disaster. Along with pathetic DOF chancers, this has all been on Moshiri.
