Whatever happens, no more Moyes plz. It's a move that lacks ambition and slingshots us back to 2003
Oh so regular European football for 10 years and decent cup runs? And we are scoffing at that as we fall further away from the top 6 and closer to the bottom 3?

I'm not an advocate for moyes but some people don't half try and make it sound like we weren't half decent under him.

We weren't. Our European tours were mainly embarrassing by the large. PL had about 3/4 decent teams with the rest including us being bog standard. Our European ventures proved it

Four of the eleven seasons he was here for.

The PL is still the same. 3/4 teams and the rest are pretty garbage. It's just back then, we were generally considered the best of the rest and the team most likely to break the monopoly.

Whereas now, we are here, looking at games against Newcastle and Burnley as potential 6 pointers etc, having been knocked out to a crap championship team in the cup, with posters (that advocate for benitez) happy to scrape past 40 points and happy to finish 12th etc.

I know which I'd prefer.

I think the next couple of games, assuming they go ahead, are interesting as there's a little GOT sub-plot at play.

The young progressive manager (that's Potter and Howe in some quarters*) vs. the wiley experienced pragmatic manager (or dinosaur in some, less kind, quarters) AKA Benitez.

Let's see which approach wins out!

*I know, I know, ffs.
We could do it much simpler, a young progressive manager like Arteta (former Everon favorite) or Howe (lifelong Everton fan) or experienced pragmatic manager whos still current like Moyes (Everton overachiever especially with no money to spend) or we could do it the Moshiri way and dig up an extinct former Kopite legend and compare their respective gameplans, results and points total and in waffas case - excuses

Nope. Genuinely looking forward to the great Howe vs. Benitez face off swiftly followed by Potter-ball vs. Benitez-Ball.

There is much written on this site on all three and their respective merits. Go check the vaults ;)
