I accept some people will never want Benitez as manager even if he won the Premier League and Champions League in the same season.. there hatred and refusal to accept Benitez past will never change.. I don’t agree with that mindset and would rather let a manager prove himself before judging him... it still baffles me a bit that I got things so wrong because I though all Evertonians liked Dave Watson.. Kevin Sheedy.. Peter Reid and later on Peter Beardsley... but because of past red connections they must never of been accepted either just like Benitez.. these people can’t have it both ways a reds a red in there mindset and will never change..

People are fine to support benitez, that's their choice and opinion, I don't agree with it, and think the evidence of his performance so far shows he isn't right for the job, but each to their own.

But, there are ways to go about showing you support him without being incredibly condescending while doing so. Especially if you then complain people don't engage with you sensibly.

Means no more to me than you. Neither of us are better Evertonians than the other. It means more to both of us than legend78 who had admitted he doesn't support the club though.

But if you make comments about how some fans want us to lose to see benitez position weakened, it's simply not true. As I've only ever seen 2 or 3 posters, alongside you, ever say they want us to lose a game.

Seriously?? I've missed this somehow lol-He doesn't support us or the rs? Hes Chinese but loves Benitez? So he joined GOT to talk about Benitez? His written English is good for a Chinese person. Obviously bs but is this his story??

He's from the city but supports some Chinese Club and is pleading for Blues to give the current manager a chance.

Nothing to see here imo - Windymiller should apologise to the fella for such crass accusations.

Well, he claimed he supported Dalian Pro, but he may have backtracked somewhat subsequently.

He's a very interesting Pokemon alright. @ForeverBlue92 likes him though, so I'm sure he's sound.

Have you come up with a better justification for your mate getting Newcastle relegated yet?

To recap for your convenience: Benitez took over with them 1pt from safety, and with a game in hand. Relegated with a game left to play in the season, with them 4pts from safety.
