But, because I'm all about spreading the love this year, I'm going to advocate supporting Rafael and hoping he learns from his mistakes in order to become a top class coach once more. Preferably at someone else's expense though.

His time is up now, its just not working. I don't want to us to keep the hire n fire our way through managers attitude going but I'd rather we just put Benitez out of his misery now before we actually are in trouble. The season is already a write off, European spots are gone but a new manager bounce and someone who sets up to keep possession more would see us back in the top 10 in 3 or 4 games easy. I just hope Moshiri doesn't wait til we're actually in trouble which could happen under Benitez very quickly now.

Whatever you think of the man, his starting tactics are very strange. It looked for 35 minutes we had 2 left backs in Coleman and holgate, if you’re leaving digne out then put Godfrey there who has done okay. Why can’t we use a flat back 4 especially at home against the likes of Brighton. Our midfield is shaped to be over run nearly every game!

I'll judge him on how he spends and what we get out of the players he brings in.

I've repeatedly said for weeks maybe even months that I couldn't give a toss if he was sacked tomorrow I just dont think he will be.

The fact I backed him at the start of the season like any reasoned Evertonian should doesn't mean I back him 100% week in week out.

Im just not part of the salivating pitchfork brigade who think this squad of players are any good/being held back.

Take away the issue of you believing we can't afford to sack him. Or your belief that moshiri won't sack him. They don't impact on whether we actually want him sacked or not.
