I don’t care that he managed them. Yet I did know that many blues did. So his appointment split the fan base. The only way he was going to get on well is have a great season. Right now we are having one of the worst. If stability was needed which it was, and the club knew they have to stick by the manager. Why did they think he would be a good choice. He is hated by many before he ever came here. If it was someone eles like Lampard, potter etc or some other more experienced manager, then okay. Fans would probably still be annoyed if we where playing like we are now, but it’s worse because of his history and what he has said in the past. Negative tactics, bad subs at the wrong times poor formations from the start. Best I’ve seen us play this season is when we have 3 in the middle when he has made the change during the game because he has had to, yet he so stubborn. The whole Digne situation and playing Coleman instead is pathetic. We need points yet his ego gets in the way. I don’t know who is the right person but he clearly ain’t going to get time from the fans.
….I can’t be alone in feeling uncomfortable when the camera pans to him on the sidelines waving his arms with a look of incredulity on his face, as though it’s all somebody else’s fault.

We have DCL back and we put the best crosser of a ball on the bench. He should be sacked for that decision alone. We have needed players in many positions and could do nothing about it but we manage to get a replacement left back before we actually need to.
I have been on record as saying Benitez isn’t the problem, he is a symptom of the problem. However todays performance represents a new low even for our lot. Time to sack him and let big Dunc take charge until the summer. Anything above 17th now looks OK. Z

The fact he's a kopite is a bizarre form of protection in reality... His stalwart supporters in here think that's all its about, I'm guessing most of em dont watch the games, cant get my head around it, and I reckon Moshiri is thinking the same...RB is wearing the kopite connection and initial opposition to his appointment as a shield and its annoying af....he's just not good enough

I think this is our lowest ebb, since that 2001/2002 period right now. This horrible man has broken the spirit of this club. I hate him, and i hate the people who appointed him. I love Everton but i hate the people, who are running the club i love into the gutter.
