I’ll put my hand up, I wanted to give him a chance as I would any manager of ours, but ffs that line up today……..
It was never, ever going to end happily. It was always going to crash and always sooner rather than later. His behaviour at other clubs, lack of responsibility, arrogance was obvious, add to that no other club was interested and then add to that his brand of foitball is archaic, the game has moved on, yada, yada, until you get to this ex r/s, bad mouthing us, divisiveness.
An absolute crock of crashes for a football club, our football club.
It was Moshiri's madness that put him there and possibly Moshiri's arrogant madness that will bugger up the club by keeping him there.

But every manager has failed here since Moyes (who you could still classify as a failure).

So are you saying the only option is to refuse to get behind any future EFC manager from the get go?
No. And that’s a truly bizarre conclusion to draw from what I said.

The fans got behind Martinez, Koeman, Silva and Ancelotti. Until (at various points) they showed themselves to not be up to the changing circumstances we were in.

They didn’t especially get behind Allardyce or Benitez, because neither should have been anywhere NEAR the job.

Allardyce can at least say he did what he was brought in for - but he was NEVER going to be there any longer than half a season, regardless of the fans’ reaction.

Benitez should never have been given the job, and has since proven to not be up to it. 1pt better off than Mike Walker. One win AND EIGHT LOSSES in 12 games.

This has nothing to do with the fans, or what’s happened before. He DESERVES to be sacked for his job performance. Nothing more, nothing less.

There isn’t another even semi-comparable club in the PL who would stick with their manager aged 8 losses in 12 games.

To blame the fans for this mess is utterly ridiculous

Got anything to say about ‘potterball’ lad?
Potterball is still no1 choice in the Anyone But Benitez Brigades eyes - with his 16th place finish last season and 1 win in 7 current run this season.... scintillating stuff.

You have some others, Zat has gone hard on Anorim - some young Portuguese fella who can barely speak a word of English and is doing well in a league Marco Silva looked boss in - lets just hope he's better than Zats shouts for us to spend £65 million on Emerson & Aarons at RB lol

Disagree there - so if a Norwich fan said Everton were no bigger a club because they won their 9 league titles and 5 FA Cups a while ago you would agree with them?

People talk about football "moving on" and "progressive" "dinosaur" managers but I don't buy that when all these progressive managers like Potter, Lampard, Frank, Marco Silva ever win anything of serious note in their careers.

Footballs a simple game - have 11x 6ft+ strong, fast, pacey players who can fight, tackle, press and pass the ball and you'll do well.

We have 4 or 5 players who fit that description so is there any wonder why we struggle under every single manager?

Keep Benitez and let him drain the swamp and rebuild the squad which is what I think the owners will do.

But if Potter is the **best** of a realistic bunch what hope do we have?

If Benitez went tomorrow out of all the realistic managers available I would be after Dyche or Biesla.

Nuno/Potter/Lampard/Alladyce/Periera/Fonesca/Hughes/Dunc/Pulis no way man.

If anyone picks Potter or Lampard over the special one because they are "young and progressive" it shows you all you need to know when Lampard had the current Champions of Europe 9th in the table and Potterball is on a similiar winless run as the current "worst manager in our 'istory".

Moyes isn't young or progressive yet is doing a decent job with WHU...

If Benitez goes (and im not convinced he will at this stage) the only realistic candidate out there is Graham Potter.

Give him the job and bring Bissouma here with him.
A quick and lazy search reveals an awful confused lot ?

Benitez is a rotten manager mate, and you are a rotten poster for supporting a manager, who is in the process of destroying this club.
The club was destroyed many years ago by the behind the scenes staff - Benitez is the easy target for people unwilling to give a manager a chance. The same people who boo our striker as he comes off the bench. It’s absolutely pathetic.

You are so easy to wind up and just to watch you all spit feathers makes it worth while because you all start spouting Vitriol and become easily unhinged:)
What a disgusting comment! Take a look in the mental health thread, or Karls and some of the struggles good lads and lasses are suffering without the the likes of trying to make their lives that bit more difficult. You should be ashamed of yourself.
