Moshiri has gone balls deep on Benitez.

He hasn't. He has got rid of a failing DOF, who has looked on shaky ground for the last 12 mths. Nothing to do with Benitez.
And bought a 15 m young left back. Hardly balls deep

I would say it stinks of Randy Lerner and Moshiri pulling back and letting Benitez get on with it until we see in BM. But now we are spending again

I know, you get to a point where you cannot stand the sight of them. It happened with the previous managers to me. It usually proceeds their sacking by the way so every cloud.

He gave that DoF a new contract about 6 months before sacking him (after 3.5yrs of not being allowed to do his job properly).

Sadly it was everything to do with Benitez. For reasons passing understanding Moshiri’s picked THIS manager as the hill he wants to die on

Contracts mean sweet FA in football. Spurs give Nuno a 3 yr contract and sacked him after 17 game. Fact is Brands was on shaky ground long before the FSW arrived. Did he have a say in pushing him out of the door, good chance of it but Mosh has hardly backed himself into a corner. Quite easily sack both of them and start afresh
