I started taking guff like this with a pinch of salt after I was assured that he was sacked after the derby...then after Palace.

It isn't happening. Not this season.

The best hope you have is that a change is made in the summer.

Settle down and stop mithering yourself.

You can't even defend the man anymore.

Just sticking fingers into ears and repeating "Moshiri won't sack him".

Even if he doesn't sack him it won't stop the support coming together and realizing he doesn't have a clue and doing whatever they can to make their voices heard until he goes.

What happened to all of your claims he was a good manager? I notice you lot don't even bother trying that on anymore.

Moshiri will sack him at some point. A point that gets closer every day he loses us more games.

All this ‘the fans have never given him a fair crack because he’s ex-Liverpool blah blah blah’ is irrelevant.

His tenure has been nothing short of abysmal. He sets the team up the same every week, we concede first every week, we concede from corners and free kicks every week with the same set up in place, he persists on playing his double agent Rondon ahead of Dobin and Simms, plays a well over the hill right back at left back because he has a personal issue with the clubs best (and France’s) left back

If anything, I’d say any fans who never gave him a chance to begin with (baring the dickheads hanging banners outside his house) were very shrewd. And I was one of those who was willing to give him a chance and thought he’d do a solid enough job

You mean with the triple CL winner and current Real Madrid manager at the helm.

Will the same squad do similiar under a similiar level manager to Benitez/Koeman/Silva as thats the level of replacement you're looking at not a Ancelotti/Conte/Ten Hag/Kovac type everyone is drooling themselves over.
You mean the guy who is unemployed right now? What would make you think he wouldn't be interested in us? He came to watch us before we hired Ancelotti. He's a much much much better manager than the waste we have right now.

Yes, I mean we did better with a better manager than this one.

I don't agree with the implication here that only Ancelotti is capable of doing better than Benitez.

I know you want to perpetuate that to excuse your blind backing of this utter failure but it simply isn't true.

I'd back someone unproven right now because this squad is better than the 20th place in the form table this failing manager has us in.

Unless the players are abjectly useless and the club won't replace them, the book stops with the manager.

They are. We know this. Apart from a small handful who haven’t been available for chunks of the season.

You don’t coach international players how to pass, control and stay concentrated. You may coach them new systems but it is difficult to do in a short time with players unable to meet the demands of the system you choose.

The only vote that counts is sitting on a yacht in the Caribbean.

….I fear you’re right.

Moshiri did say he was coming in for the Arsenal game but I don’t recall seeing him in the crowd. i‘m sure he knows the depth of feeling against Benitez & perhaps that’s why he’s hiding on his yacht.

He’ll be very happy Benitez is doing his dirty work off the pitch but I imagine he’s now getting very nervous about what’s happening on it.

It absolutely is irrelevant to judging him today on our worst form in 30 years but they need to find some justification for their position backing Benitez for 6 months.

There isn't anything rational they can point to so they've assigned themselves as the moral arbitrators of the forum and are now telling everyone they only spent 6 months defending his ability because of the nasty bloos who abuse the poor fat man.

Moshiri only appoints ex PL experienced managers mate so without a DOF in his ear someone like Kovac is automatically out of the picture.

Throw in our budget issues and not many top level managers will be looking to join a club sat 15th in the table that needs to force their LB out to be able to sign 2-3 players.
