That presser was a bit of a car crash.

Problem for Benitez is the fact that we haven’t won many games and don’t look like winning many anytime soon hence leaving most of his arguments looking a bit silly and he hasn’t got much of a leg to stand on.

If we were performing well and the Benitez way/hard nosed approach was working then he’d have a bit more slack…problem is…it’s not working.

He has the full backing of the owner - the one giving him cash for players right now.

That's all he needs.

Whether you back Benitez or not, that press conference was just absolutely bizarre. He lost his head. Cracks showing. Unfortunately he's already done damage.
Seems like a press conference of someone who knows he’s in last chance saloon. Anything other than a win tomorrow and I could see him getting the boot. Defeat against Leicester will definitely be it if tomorrows game is a ‘free pass’ as such.

If he plays a weakened team against Hull then he can go take a long walk into Mersey

Ill be honest and I've said this to everyone, the only way he could win me over was winning a cup - he isn't doing anything in the league lets be honest. When he gave up the Carabao it was over for me, that should have been his target - top 10 finish and a cup.

If he fields a weakened team he needs to be cannoned back to Caldy.

He just can't help himself. The only way he could ever have succeeded here is by getting his head down and getting fans on his side but he's shown no desire to do that since day one its all about him and his ego these little performances that the idiot fans of some of his other clubs have loved just have the opposite effect here and he can't get his head around it. When he gets sacked he'll call our fans all the name under the sun in the media and I can't wait.
