Koeman was a bad bully also ! Look how he treated Niasse ! No need for that ! Cruel AF
He was. Koeman was a tit to Niasse but at least he did it for somewhat logical reasons. He didn't bully Niasse because the lad dared to question him, he just didn't like the lad because was hopelessly crap at football. And when there was no other choice Koeman put his ego aside and played Niasse thus prioritising the wellbeing of the club. He then played the Niasse again even after publically having his kecks pulled down by the lad scoring a few goals. Bully, tit, egomaniac, whatever. Call Koeman what you want but he isn't even Benitez's league for any of those things.

Have a bad feeling about the result today. Just feel like he’ll pass this fa cup chance up, in order to get a result Tuesday against Leicester. Dangerous way to play it that. Especially when we want a trophy. Reckon he’s out with a lose?
I think he could lose to Hull, Leics and Norwich and he'd still be in the job. He clearly has the ear of and backing of Moshiri and that's really all that counts. I think if Moshiri was going to sack him, he'd have done it by now not a few weeks about booting out the DOF; so unless we slump into the bottom 3, I think we're stuck enduring him until at least the season's end.

The truth is that if a team is going to be succesful the manager must have authority and the players must all be on board with the game plan and their roles. Otherwise it leads to chaos when they get into the pitch. In this respect Benitez is doing the correct thing in handling Digne.

I am not defending his results or even claiming he will turn things around. Just in this situation I think he is doing what a manager needs to do.

Any good manager will welcome being challenged by their employees with suggestions of how to improve a situation, or if they hold flawed views or are making poor decisions, even if it just opens up a discussion.

In this case, this manager refuses to engage with that discussion and would rather make a toxic workplace environment by ostracising individuals.

Digne has said nothing publically and has remained professional. Wanting to leave that environment when the manager won't engage with suggestions and continues with their route which is failing is understandable. It happens everyday in workplaces everywhere. Why would you want to stay?

It's not professional to sit back while your manager makes contentious decisions and is leading you in the wrong direction.
He's the manager. It's a professional football club not a commune.

Digne is a player who has demanded transfers out of 4 of his 5 clubs. He's a career long nuisance for his managers.

I know who I think the problem here lies with.

It's a workplace, not a commune. Have you proved he has 'demanded' to leave those 4 clubs yet?

We all know who you think the problem is with. Yet for some reason you are happy with the manager putting his interests ahead of the club by playing an exceptionally one footed right back, who has been incredibly poor this season at left back instead of the actual left back. Yet then have a go at players for not putting the club first.

Still ignoring the facts that Silva and Carlo both achieved what you claimed only this manager has done since 2013?

Conflicted today, going in to a game against a relegation threatened club and I have no idea which way it will go.....

I want us to win the game and have a go at winning the FA Cup but that isn`t likely. If we went all the way there is a massive possibility we could be the next Wigan.

I don`t like fans/supporters who hope the team lose to get a manager sacked BUT if there was a guarantee Jaffa would be sacked if we lost to Hull I`d quite happily give up an FA Cup distraction for that to happen.

There isn`t any guarantees so COYBs, we need a massive turnaround but with this manager playing 5 at the back I cant see it whatsoever!

He wouldn't be imo. Mosh and him have a "plan".
