All players will ask to leave if they want game time, you know this , that is not being a problematic player.
You know what really bugs me about this?
It’s that the very character traits on display by this manager are among the the ones you once excoriated and vitriolically mocked him for on this site!

He's demanded 4 moves...and you ignore that and say he's non-problematic.

FFS, are you taking the piss?

Asked this yesterday , can anyone post where Digne has said he didnt want to play for us ?

Only thing ive seen is he said the manager didnt pick him.

Why was he on the bench ? He was obviously fit & available.
So begs the question why wasnt he brought on like Rondon & Gomes where.

He managed to sound like he was starting a feud with the man, when he was apparently trying to invoke his spirit.

If I hadn’t listened to the Echo podcast - where they explained they’d asked him to clarify in the cameras-off section - I’d never have got that.

I may be wrong but I’m not sure I have seen Digne mouthing off to the press/media about wanting a move! He may well have had a conversation with Benitez who has then made it public! Benitez is the one not being professional here, which historically what he has always done to divert criticism and avoid any blame!

Only Benny who let any team looking at left back know a player wants out...

As thick a move when appointing him.
