This ewho criticised him saying that REALLY revealed themselves for what they are. They were the ones found out, not Benitez.

Except Evertonians can see beyond the veil, we know what's going on. Was Digne right to say he didn't want to play for us, obviously not but he also didn't just turn up one day as say bugger it, the managers actions have led to this.

We did need a shake up dead right, not sure this is the right way of going about it tbh.

I can’t bring myself to watch his press conferences, but, I read today that he said in yesterday’s that his tactics are good, Chelsea play 3 at the back and they are at the top. He says it’s just individual mistakes holding his system back. He’s missed one or two salient points there... if it is individual mistakes, isn’t it his job to coach them out? What he doesn’t seem to realise or accept is that our central defenders and wing backs are just not in the same league as those at Chelsea and our midfielder are certainly not good enough to play as a two against most teams in the premier league.

If it wasn’t at Everton that we were watching this arrogant conceited dinosaur, I would be loving every minute of it and finding it hugely amusing. It really must be very funny to watch our demise under the master tactician, if you support anyone bar Everton.

I think this clown is making us go 5 at the back permanently, yes Chelsea use it BUT how much money have they spent to make it work? Conte started it and the players suited that system.

Who else uses the 5 at the back? Brentford, Wolves and Brighton.... Yes it can help a team with weak players over achieve IF played correctly and these teams have been playing this way for years and since they were in the Championship.

5 at the back never has and never will be the formation of the very top teams, both City and Liverpool use a 4-3-3. Interestingly enough Chelsea played with a back 4 v Liverpool in their 2-2 draw... Everton should not be going down this route as it severely limits playing any other way AND as proven DOES NOT WORK.

If he pulls 5-4-1 v Hull he should be fired on the spot..... I think he will though!

I can't side with someone who said he doesn't want to play for us, even though he meant Benitez and we know that. Mitigating circumstances this time though, they're both wrong but at least Digne has kept quiet publicly.

I too find losing almost every game utterly meaningless. While we’re at it, what’s the point of being in the top flight? Or any of the football leagues for that matter? It’s all meaningless. We’re all just highly evolved apes watching other highly evolved apes kicking a spherical object around some well trimmed grass, we’re foolish for attaching any meaning to it.

That appears to be where his argument is heading the absolute melt.
