Thing is, we all know that the squad and players who are going through the motions need eradicating from the clubs history asap.

Most of us though just don’t want Benitez doing it, because he’s an absolutely dreadful manager, with a dreadful personality and a massive kopite rat snide. Then throw his results in and there is really no debate about whether he should be here or not.

I too find losing almost every game utterly meaningless. While we’re at it, what’s the point of being in the top flight? Or any of the football leagues for that matter? It’s all meaningless. We’re all just highly evolved apes watching other highly evolved apes kicking a spherical object around some well trimmed grass, we’re foolish for attaching any meaning to it.

That appears to be where his argument is heading the absolute melt.
Yep, that’s the level of debate you get from this deranged individual.

It's the best way of doing it. Let the fans know what the issue is: vested interests of millionaire players versus the club's best interests.

He nailed it.
Nope.
It was petulant, unnecessary and revealed ( not for the first time) a certain baseness of character from the Spaniard.
That it was directed against a player who has never been noted as a troublesome player , who has always conducted himself well and who recently pledged his future to Everton, is distasteful to say the least.
Bringing a genuine Everton legend into the diatribe was just odd and again unnecessary.
All in all yet another example of poor management and on the eve of a very important brace of matches for us.
Disappointing.

Check your facts out.

He asked to leave 3 of his other clubs: Barcelona, PSG and Roma....and now Everton.

He doesn't give a flying one.

He wants CL football and wants away. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut like the rest of them and do what a professional is supposed to do.

How can anyone side with the player in that?

No need for Benny to come and say anything until after he was sold. He is damned if he does or does not. But Benny has announced to the world.

Indeed Everton now go into transfer negotiations against clubs all knowing the player just wants out. Benny actions have further devalued an asset. And apparently we can ill afford to loose money on transfers.

This about Benny believing he can endear himself to the majority of fans by getting rid of bad eggs, by name dropping players from our most successful period.

Therefore, I again conclude, this not about one player in a team, neither is about Everton football club, its Benny ego...
