The system isn't very good either especially on corners. The goal today was not a system issue. Getting guys who win headers would help. That's where I'm at.

This is fair, missing DCL, Mina particularly have both been massive. Get them back we’ll improve.

In the interim though, continuing to set up as if they were still in the team is a big problem.

If we don’t have the players available to play the way we want then persisting with it costing us goals is bottom line poor management. Get more of our players in amongst theirs, get tight to a man, stop/block runs. When we don’t have players great at attacking the ball, trying to stop their players getting a run and jump on our players would be an idea.

Lining them up on the six yard box is not working with this personnel, it’s not too much to ask the manager to adapt his set up until he has players available.

The Rafael conundrum.

I am absolutely exasperated at the defensive tactics and the inability to recognise that we need a third body in midfield. His tactics are deplorable, and I hate that he has taken a 'small club' mindset to the way we play. Just because we don't have the playing ability of Man City etc, doesn't mean we cannot take on teams.

However, I am 100% behind his off-field decisions. The medical, recruitment and squad changes are brutal and necessary. He is spot on with this and the majority of the fan base will agree that we have needed a major overhaul off the pitch for some time.

As it stands, I would prefer him out because we need a manager that is willing to play on the front foot and communicate properly with the fans. I am sick of his condescending sneering and his stubbornness and arrogance is beyond comprehension.

It is with the above that I remain torn on his tenure so far for he has made wholesale changes that we have needed, but this has not translated, where it matters most, on the pitch.

It would be helped significantly if Moshiri or Kenwright would properly communicate with the fans and explain the current strategy.

His starting line ups are bordering on self sabotage at this point, or he’s just trying to wind the fans up. Who the hell plays 5 at the back as an actual flat back 5 where the full backs aren’t allowed to cross the half way line? Why has Branthwaite been binned off in favour of shoehorning Coleman into a position that he can’t play in? Why is Rondon waddling around watching the game from a centre forward position? I just want him out as soon as possible because I can’t watch this style of football anymore.

He'll do a Jose... sabotage everything to blame everyone else but himself to get what he wants.

It's not likes he's attempting to make us play like Pep's Barcelona and bemoaning we don't have the players...that would be actually changing a philosophy, bring in a progressive brand of football fit for the modern game...

He's not. He can't even set us up to not lose football games or defend. The basics.

As said before...if a complete overhaul is needed, he's not the right man for it.

He's hiding behind the previous transfer spends and failures before looking at his own failures. He's got all the tools to make a functioning football squad but he's refusing to use them.

You do realise that the player who scored the opening goal was 5ft 10in Really we need DCL and Richarlison’s outstanding Ariel ability to combat the threat of giants like this, by the way DCL was on the pitch defending the Brighton one which they would never have scored if DCL was playing.

Please don’t even consider comparing our current manager to Kendall.
If you want a more accurate previous manager to compare him to try Mike Walker it’s a much closer fit.

I agree we need improvement but it shouldn't ever be a head coaches job to force out (without replacement) the director of football, recruitment team, and medical department.

We have a skeleton staff whose only qualifications are loyalty to the manager (no longer head coach).

Such an unhealthy situation for the club. No other club runs like this.
